Our server named Melissa was very personable, pleasant, organized, and detail oriented. The food was absolutely delicious. Despite the large portion, I finished my large portion of eggplant rollatini just because it was so delicious. The warm bread and drizzle were a wonderful addition to our meals. “This place is amazing. I hate to leave a review because lately I’ve had a hard time getting a reservation because so many people love this place! I frequent this restaurant and I can honestly say, it has been great meals, drinks and service every time. My recent visit I had a special on the menu, Barramundi with risotto. Absolutely wonderful! I had a drink (another special) a pear vodka cocktail and again, perfection! Bartenders are the best! You cannot go wrong with a visit here. I also want to mention the waitstaff, they all go above and beyond to make your visit, comfortable and enjoyable and they are extremely busy.

“My partner and I drove a few hundred miles for a spontaneous visit to Orchard Hill. Our spirits were low and we needed to get away from the news and explore. Having watched a YouTube about the bakery, and loving bread as I do, we just decided to go for it. The beauty of the place and its vibe were just what we needed. We stocked up with 6 loaves and some yummy spreads. Tonight at home we had dinner with bread as our centerpiece. It was delicious and it tasted like hope, the flavor only human hearts, hands and minds can infuse. Thank you.”

“Visiting from Philly for a wedding. This has to be one of my favorite bakeries in the country and I have been to many incredible shops.

Everything was perfectly executed. All the pastries were the perfect level of sweet, texture, and portion. I tried the flammkuchen, the cinnamon twist, and. the kouign amann. Amazing stuff.”

“Hubby & I tried The Hungry Diner for the first time on Valentine’s Day! The place was busy as we had expected, however we were greeted right away with a smile and welcome! She asked if we had been there before, gave us a run down of the menus and drink selections, how to order, be seated and served. The restaurant was so beautiful, well designed and very appropriate for the theme. We were amazed at how well everyone worked together so smoothly and happily! The milkshakes came out first and very quickly, truly so creamy!! Our food came out within 15 minutes, hot and fresh! My husband got the Hungry Mac & Cheese with Bacon, and I got the Hungry Chickenwich with Hungry Fries, neither of us were disappointed in any way! He needed a box for half of his dinner because it was so filling! He said the bacon was so fresh and thick cut, and the Mac n cheese was so creamy and rich! The chicken in the chickenwich was so juicy and cooked perfectly with crispy edges! The hungry fries are to die for, reminded me of fair fries! Highly recommend and we will be going back!! Side note, big shout out to a few employees who made our stay exceptional and/or we noticed going above and beyond: (apologies for not knowing anyone’s names) -one of the cooks wearing a beanie with pigtail braids: we watched her ensuring food went out looking perfect, if it was less than that or needed finishing touches she added it with such finesse and a smile! -the woman who greeted us (possibly an owner or manager): fantastic at her job, friendly, energetic, very welcoming and comforting (almost a motherly feeling), and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and drinks! She checked in with us a few times and asked our opinion! -the man wearing a hat (also possibly an owner or manager): my husband and I watched this man work so hard the entire time we were there! He was doing a little bit of everything, from bringing food to tables, to picking up dirty dishes, to observing the room to make sure everything was orderly! Everyone was friendly, smiling and hardworking! ☺️”

“Amazing dinner! Wished I lived closer! Best food I’ve had in a very long time and I live near Boston. Every bite of the Homemade pasta with peas, mint, ricotta salata and brown butter was full of flavor. Best arugula salad, simple and light but again full of flavor. Lovely atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation comfortably. Excellent service too! Hope to be back soon!”

“Years ago a client of mine gave me box of two penguins. I gave them to my chocolate loving wife, who declared them to be incredible.
L.A. Burdicks has been an unwinnable battle ever since.
The hot cocoa is to die for, the bonbons and truffles are amazing.
Several single source chocolates, marvelous mousse and cakes.
There's this one little chocolate that's, I don't know, maybe 3/4 x 1 inch and 3/16 thick, right, its lapsang oolong or something and it tastes like nothing you ever had in your life.
Don't go here without your wallet, mind you. And don't take anyone who thinks Snickers is the end all of chocolate. This place will blow their minds.”

The portions were fantastic (had more then enough), all containers were labeled,they provided serving utensils and it was all boxed and ready to go when I got there! They also helped me load it all into my car. So impressed with everything and will definitely be ordering from them in the future for any other gatherings that come up!”
