Quiet yet lively; relaxed and chill but not kitsch. But the food is stellar; everything is vegan but the way they play with flavors is out of this world. Everything i have had is fresh and absolutely delicious as well flavorful. The vegetables are crisp; the noodles are hearty; the fried stuff is cooked perfectly and not over-breaded; the sauces complement whatever dish they come with etc. This place is an absolute gem for our area. If youre ever playing the "you pick a place" for dinner game go here. Or come try it and when you want to show friends a great place in the area. You definitely wont be disappointed.”

“please read till the end. I did not care for pizza down under when i had them before under the old owner a few years back. After meeting the new owner i went to try it and give it another go. I was told they have a new buffalo sauce they use and i got a buffalo chicken, jalapeno, onion calzone with the meatsauce on the side and no riccotta. absolutelay amazing. i think thats the best buffalo chicken sauce ive had around here. I am glad I meet the new owner and gave it a go.”

“We serendipitously ran into this wonderful restaurant in Brattleboro, Vermont called High Thai and were so unbelievably surprised by the excellent food and service we got in this establishment. “Hubby & I tried The Hungry Diner for the first time on Valentine’s Day! The place was busy as we had expected, however we were greeted right away with a smile and welcome! She asked if we had been there before, gave us a run down of the menus and drink selections, how to order, be seated and served. The restaurant was so beautiful, well designed and very appropriate for the theme. We were amazed at how well everyone worked together so smoothly and happily! The milkshakes came out first and very quickly, truly so creamy!! Our food came out within 15 minutes, hot and fresh! My husband got the Hungry Mac & Cheese with Bacon, and I got the Hungry Chickenwich with Hungry Fries, neither of us were disappointed in any way! He needed a box for half of his dinner because it was so filling! He said the bacon was so fresh and thick cut, and the Mac n cheese was so creamy and rich! The chicken in the chickenwich was so juicy and cooked perfectly with crispy edges! The hungry fries are to die for, reminded me of fair fries! Highly recommend and we will be going back!! Side note, big shout out to a few employees who made our stay exceptional and/or we noticed going above and beyond: (apologies for not knowing anyone’s names) -one of the cooks wearing a beanie with pigtail braids: we watched her ensuring food went out looking perfect, if it was less than that or needed finishing touches she added it with such finesse and a smile! -the woman who greeted us (possibly an owner or manager): fantastic at her job, friendly, energetic, very welcoming and comforting (almost a motherly feeling), and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and drinks! She checked in with us a few times and asked our opinion! -the man wearing a hat (also possibly an owner or manager): my husband and I watched this man work so hard the entire time we were there! He was doing a little bit of everything, from bringing food to tables, to picking up dirty dishes, to observing the room to make sure everything was orderly! Everyone was friendly, smiling and hardworking! ☺️”

“This is a good news/bad news situation. The good news is they ship. The bad news is… They ship!

Seriously… I have already ordered four different batches of their chocolate chip cookies in the last few weeks…One for me and three as gifts. The bad news is simply that they are now just a little bit too easy for me to get! :) Also… For this second order… I received them literally the day after I ordered them! The first order took a little longer, but they were still very fresh.

I have never tasted a better cookie in my life.
The gifts… I just received a cancer diagnosis and the medical care that I have already gotten has been beyond compare and I wanted to do something nice for two of my doctors and I thought there would be no better gifts than these cookies. I actually received a text message last night from one of the doctors telling me that they were unbelievable. Her son is a foodie who lives in New York and she’s already informed him of their location!

The environment piqued curiosity while giving options with its quieter "Speak Easy" styled downstairs. With a live band, a handful of themed books (namely: Stephen King) and some card games, this was a fun space where many enjoyed themselves.”
