Most enjoyable experience. Turned out that the food was better than the views! (Wet, cloudy day/eve.) A novel concept that everyone should do... once. Loved it...the staff superb.

Bus tour took us here for dinner. Food was great but mixed drinks were terrible- need a better mixologist. Not worth the money for them and they tacked on a 20% tip which was most certainly not deserved

A MOST BRILLIANT MEAL! TOP NOTCH! GO FOR THE FOOD, TRAIN AMBIANCE, MUSIC, DECOR, HISTORIC VALUE, NOT THE SCENERY WHICH IS NOT TERRIFICALLY SPECTACULAR.

This experience is a must if you're a fan of delicious food and the beautiful NH scenery. The staff here does an excellent job and accommodates most food allergies (make sure to mention any in the reservation). A 2 hour train ride in a 1950s dining car takes you back in time. 5 courses, all delicious, and a wide drink selection makes for an incredible evening on the rails. Thank you to the staff who served us and made us smile. We look forward to the next time.

The Lafayette dinner train was a great experience. The food was excellent, service well done and the dome table was a wonderful vantage point to watch the slowly passing views of the Pemigewasset River. This is a wonderful way to celebrate any special occasion.

my granddaughter and I spent a couple days together while she was home visiting. I thought it would be great to take her up to the White mountains. The dinner train is something I always wanted to do and it was a pleasure to share it with her. it was an excellent time. We are so happy that we did it. We can't thank you enough and we will be back. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more.

We have been on previously and the meal and service was spot on in the upper level. This time however we sat in the main dining and service and food were below par I thought. A wait staff cleared my first drink cup without asking to replace it. I fi ally had to stop another staff to get a beer 25 to 30 minutes later. Our meal was also overcooked and cool.

It was a great experience, just not as train-like as we were hopingg for somehow. Also the view was a bit disappointing - we were expecting views into valleys from heights, but were really just in a low forest the whole time (when not passing housing or storage units). Also, there was no loop - it was up the track an hour, then reverse on the same track. Strange. Fun! MIGHT do it again in future but probably not.

We had so much fun! The food was fabulous I had the Chicken Saltimbocca is was delicious, salad and mousse for dessert. The train ride was fun with some very nice views. It was worth the trip.

The experience altogether was beautiful and romantic! I think everyone should do it at least once in their lives.
The food wasn’t fantastic, but it was good.
The staff was very nice!
The parking was crammed.
One side of the train has the sunset.
Apparently, you might be seated with another couple and the seats aren’t spacious enough for two people elbow room. Luckily, my husband and I had our own booth, so we didn’t have to deal with that.
The atmosphere is nice the way the set up the table with the flowers and candle and play the classy music.
