“Really like the ambience here, stopped by after the ice castles up the road. Although short handed the staff working did a tremendous job at being attentive to my family.. chicken parm was awesome and the jerk wings.. Will stop by again next time we're in the area. Thank you guys!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with all the neccesitties.”
“Nice place. Short staffed as it appeared to be Wife/Husband ran. During Thanksgiving, they were opened. Food was good, what it was supposed to be. The General Gau didn't really taste like General Gau. No Sushi, just Chinese.”
“Great food! I have never had a bad meal here, love trying all the specials, restaurant is child friendly (even has a train that runs throughout) and kids always enjoy their food. Staff is always friendly. A gem in Lincoln!”
“We were going to the ice castles and wanted to find some local food. This was place was super close by and the food was great. We got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, chicken bacon ranch sandwich, chicken fingers, Mac and cheese, and zucchini fries.Everything tasted good and we would definitely come back again but I do think the food was pretty high in sodium because man was I thirsty after.Atmosphere was cool and the staff was really nice!”
“These folks are very friendly and helpful. It appears that they love what they do. I’ve had 3 different pies and several pastries that were all awesome and obviously scratch made and fresh. Now let’s talk coffee. They have the best coffee in town hands down.”
“Mad River Coffee is always a good stop when you're in the area. We stopped on Tuesday and wasn't disappointed. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich special. OMG so good! I took a pic of the specials board so I could attempt to make it at home. We'll see how successful I am. Coffee and service gets an "A" as well. Make sure to visit.”
“My husband took me here this weekend on our trip to Loon Mountain, first time for me but my husband had come here multiple times last year on ski trips. I loved my breakfast and especially the pastries, really flaky croissants. My husband was in heaven that everything was still as great as last year. The sandwich with French bread he had was delicious I have to say. Love the coffee too!”
“Ordered 2 burgers with fries to go. Was a 30 minute wait for food. One burger was cooked perfectly, other was still little raw. No problem heated in microwave. Food was good. Will try again and dine in.”
“This was our first time coming here. We had a wondeful experience. The food was fantastic but the atmosphere and waiter were beyond excellent. Nothing common about this gem.”
“Stopped by with the family after a day of skiing. Mostly a takeout spot, but they have a few tables for dining in. We had garlic knots, salad, a cheese pizza, Margherita pizza, and brownies. All were really good, service was friendly and quick. Pizzas are made right in front of you in a stone fire oven. We'll be back!”
“Wonderful little cafe. We had the most delicious scones that the owners make from scratch daily. My chai was also very delicious. Owners are incredibly kind and the service was amazing. Highly recommend stopping by here for a coffee and their delicious pastries.”
“Good quality food and beautifully decorated. The grilled cheese fondue was fun and very tasty. Also the mocktail I had was one of the best I’ve tasted anywhere!”
“We will definitely be back and we will always remember this place as our 7 month old puppy’s first brewery visit! Very cozy and welcoming spot. Everyone was friendly and the beer was excellent!”
“It was our first time. We really enjoyed it. We only have one but we loved the atmosphere, friendly bartenders. We will definitely be back. We even got a Christmas gift.”
“Foods fantastic!!! Service is fantastic as well!!! The staff is super friendly and inviting, we got an appetizer and a couple burgers that were cooked to perfection . CJ'S is kind of hard to find it's in the basement of a motel my only complaint , I would highly recommend eating here.”
“Ar first glance, this is a comfortable spot to bring friends and family; the crowd here, the staff, everyone around are a pleasure to be around. We came here with a friend who's a quadriplegic, using a heavy and tough to navigate power wheelchair. There's a pretty big step up at the door, and I was certain we'd have to find a different place to bring our friend and his wheelchair. Courtney at the bar, Tracy, our server, and Mike, who may be the owner, helped out, arranging tables and chairs for him to get through, and Mike pulled out an actual wheelchair ramp and set it up at the front door to get my friend in the door. This place is an older place, obviously before people thought about things like wheelchair access, but I have to say I was impressed by the lengths everyone went through to help my friend have a good meal and a good time. And we definitely had both, because the food was delicious and the staff were nothing but great to be around. We're only visiting the area, but if I lived closer, this would, without a doubt, be the place at which I'd want to come hang out. This is a true, old school neighborhood spot like I grew up seeing. I'm glad they still exist.Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn't seem accessible at first, but don't jump to conclusions; they are accessible and very helpful about it.”
“I had the Reuben and home made onion rings. Both were worth it! Hubby had eggs, bacon, toast, and pancakes with real maple syrup . Going back to try their banana bread French toast! Friendly waitress, good service. 5 stars!”
“Had both the best dinner and airbnb experience at JL Sullivan’s Irish pub. Enjoyed the beef stew special and the Guinness buffalo wings. Would highly recommend, and will return to stay and eat here again!”
“All of the staff, especially the hostesses and Roberta were fantastic and very accommodating. As always, the food was delicious and atmosphere very cozy. We love Sunset Grill!”
“Great, cozy, fun, vibing restaurant with friendly and capable staff. We visit every year when on vacation to Loon. The whole vibe and atmosphere is a stark contrast to the clinical, hospital vibe lobby of River Walk where the restaurant is located.La Vista is definitely worth it!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options.Parking: Easy to park nearby.”
“Easily the best value for money in Meredith… we got two huge sandwiches, great bbq, nice snappy slaw. Owner was very accommodating to my bizarre requests. I’ve eaten bbq all through the country and this was definitely in the upper 10%. Thank you!!”
“Comfort food was AMAZING! After a cold day leaf peeping, we had Mac n cheese and Mom's meatloaf sandwich. Perfect way to end a Frigid day outside. Dragana, our server, was amazing! Highly recommend eating here and ask for Dragana, you won't be disappointed!”
“Cute little hidden gem. They have a secret menu item thats not advertised- coffee flights! It was so delicious, and they change the flight flavors weekly. Highly recommend.”
“My husband and I went in for lunch and were extremely impressed! We shared the pemi panini and cant dog panini and both were phenomenal. They also have a great selection of craft beer and gourmet foods. So glad we found this place and will definitely be going back!”
“Not thin crust, but definitely not deep dish. This pizza hits the sweet spot right in-between. BBQ chicken was very tasty and loaded with both chicken and sauce. Wait time was fast even during the evening mountain rush.”
“Staying at Loon during school vacation week means huge wait times for super busy restaurants. We decided we should take a 25 min drive and avoid the mess in Lincoln/ woodstock area. Boy were we glad we did. We got right in a 6:30 for dinner. Food was fantastic. And service was top notch. Well worth the short drive even if the restaurants in Lincoln were not busy. I would come back here again in a heartbeat.”
“This place was so incredible. We eat out regularly and when we're on vacation I love to explore local eats but we actually ate here both nights because it was so incredible.”
“Always a great place to grab a drink in ether winter or summer. Great views. I wish we could have taken the drinks off the deck to enjoy walking around the area.”
“Interesting gas station with a pizza place and sandwich shop inside. Food looked good. Staff was friendly. Restrooms are basic but clean. Overall good place to visit.”
“Happily updating my original review...Pemi has hit its stride!! Great staff, yummy food. The menu is on the short side, but everything is tasty. There can be waits during busy times so plan accordingly. My family loves the wings and shepherds pie!”
