“We were going to the ice castles and wanted to find some local food. This was place was super close by and the food was great.We got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, chicken bacon ranch sandwich, chicken fingers, Mac and cheese, and zucchini fries.Everything tasted good and we would definitely come back again but I do think the food was pretty high in sodium because man was I thirsty after.Atmosphere was cool and the staff was really nice!”

“These folks are very friendly and helpful. It appears that they love what they do. I’ve had 3 different pies and several pastries that were all awesome and obviously scratch made and fresh. Now let’s talk coffee. They have the best coffee in town hands down.”

“Wonderful little cafe. We had the most delicious scones that the owners make from scratch daily. My chai was also very delicious. Owners are incredibly kind and the service was amazing. Highly recommend stopping by here for a coffee and their delicious pastries.”

“Ar first glance, this is a comfortable spot to bring friends and family; the crowd here, the staff, everyone around are a pleasure to be around. We came here with a friend who's a quadriplegic, using a heavy and tough to navigate power wheelchair. There's a pretty big step up at the door, and I was certain we'd have to find a different place to bring our friend and his wheelchair. Courtney at the bar, Tracy, our server, and Mike, who may be the owner, helped out, arranging tables and chairs for him to get through, and Mike pulled out an actual wheelchair ramp and set it up at the front door to get my friend in the door. This place is an older place, obviously before people thought about things like wheelchair access, but I have to say I was impressed by the lengths everyone went through to help my friend have a good meal and a good time. And we definitely had both, because the food was delicious and the staff were nothing but great to be around. We're only visiting the area, but if I lived closer, this would, without a doubt, be the place at which I'd want to come hang out. This is a true, old school neighborhood spot like I grew up seeing. I'm glad they still exist.Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn't seem accessible at first, but don't jump to conclusions; they are accessible and very helpful about it.”

“My SO and I went last night and it was absolutely amazing, from start to finish. The 5 course meal, drinks, atmosphere, experience and scenery were fabulous. The train has AC and to me, it wasn’t cold but recommend bringing a layer if you tend to get cold. Staff was also attentive and superb. Highly recommend!!”

“My husband took me here this weekend on our trip to Loon Mountain, first time for me but my husband had come here multiple times last year on ski trips. I loved my breakfast and especially the pastries, really flaky croissants. My husband was in heaven that everything was still as great as last year. The sandwich with French bread he had was delicious I have to say. Love the coffee too!”

“Ordered 2 burgers with fries to go. Was a 30 minute wait for food. One burger was cooked perfectly, other was still little raw. No problem heated in microwave. Food was good. Will try again and dine in.”

“Decided to try this cafe instead of going to usual spot when visiting up here and was not disappointed. Great latte and the moose wrap was very hearty and satisfied my hungry appetite. Anytime we are up this way we will be sure to stop in and enjoy a great coffee and even better breakfast wrap. Service was very helpful and seemed like a very nice place to either stop in on your way to the mountains or sit and enjoy your breakfast ?”

“Not thin crust, but definitely not deep dish. This pizza hits the sweet spot right in-between. BBQ chicken was very tasty and loaded with both chicken and sauce. Wait time was fast even during the evening mountain rush.”

“A nice surprise in the middle of outdoor country where honestly I was happy to find anything above average. Food was great and authentic. I was only in town for 3 days and 2 of those 3 days I ate this for dinner. -noodles (pad thai and pad see ew) - appropriately soft noodles and perfect flavor. Would definitely get again -curries - good balance between spice and heat. Tried them all massaman, green, red. Panang Main dishes also good balance of authentic Thai flavors. Crispy 3 flavor fish was actually crispy. If in town for Loon mountain, definitely come here for a solid meal.”

“Sweet place to grab a drink. They have a good selection of beer. The guy working were real nice. Inside is done up with as a cool lodge. There is a good amount of seating facing the mountain. Unfortunately, If you want food you will need to go downstairs. I recommend bringing your food uenjoying the outside seating”

He was one of the best waiters so far! we were there today Oct 1 at noonish our slip said Bar 1 so don't know if that will help! we wanted him to know he gave us great service and food was great as well”

“Was at the highest peak. So this restaurant was perfect not only to enjoy some delicious hot chocolate but also to keep ourselves warm. Outside was extremely cold.Food was ok. Ordered a slice of pizza which costed $8. Its slice is equivalent to 2 slices... quite huge. Fries which were good costs $4.”

“We arrived shortly after opening but the dining room had no waitstaff on yet! The bartender was on his own for the dining room and the bar. (He did a great job trying to please everyone. I think his name was Josh.) When the lounge singer arrived, she was helping serve waters. The waitstaff finally arrived within a half hour and everything was fine. Food was excellent. And the view before nightfall was spectacular.”
