The second time we visited this place was because the Mexican restaurant next to it had a one hour wait. I'm not waiting one hour and we need that the food here was good. My wife ordered a Italian Stromboli and I had pasta and octopus. They were both exceptionally tasty, and always come out piping hot. In addition, everyone gets a really delicious bread basket with different types of Italian breads, garlic, bruschetta and baked bread. The owner is always cordial and you can see him mingling around talking to people.If you are in town I would recommend this place. They are fully accessible, and will move tables around for you if you need them to be moved. The bathrooms are also accessible and there are some accessible parking spots available on the street, or in the parking deck behind the courtyard restaurant area. “Romeo’s is part of the family. Back during covid one of our sons worked for them (full disclosure)and they treated him well. They also take super good care of us when we are back from a long trip and don’t feel like cooking or it’s a baseball night and we can’t even. Everything is yummy, sometimes they sneak in some garlic knots which is like very sweet of them. We have had pizza, sandwiches, dinners and it’s all fab. He taught them to make their very own pizza from scratch ( something they will forever talk about) me being an adult just to experience first hand how he is with the children was TRULY amazing !!! First of all you get these big huge giant slices. Second they are nice and crispy out of the oven and not floppy. Not over oily and love their sauce and cheese they use which isn't too acidity. For a hungry person 2 slices is plenty actually. They have a variety of choices. Also love their chicken rolls and garlic knots.“

Our gracious host Dolores is an Sposito who we had the pleasure to talk with.We started with Zuppa di Mussels,which was delicious and the sauce to dip the mussels in was so sweet yummy.Just look at the pictures before and after.Then my wife ordered the huge Pork Chop with mixed vegetables and potatoes, my wife couldn't finish her meal.I ordered a Margarita Pizza with homemade mozzarella and pecorino romano cheese and fresh basil with extra virgin olive oil. “We are repeat customers of Campania and this restaurant never disappoints! We did have to wait a bit to be seated but it was a Friday night so no doubt it was crowded. We had fried calamari as an appetizer and it was crispy and delicious. My husband has the pork chop with cherry peppers, my daughter has the Bolognese and I had their special dish called the Frank Sinatra. All were very flavorful and the portions were just right. We had creme brulee, cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake and the presentation was so beautiful. The mousse was light and airy and not the kind I like which is dark and heavier yet it was still good. “We ordered from Pizzaioli tonight. We told them to leave the food by the front door since my household of 5 has COVID. The food arrived quickly, and the delivery driver named Joe actually texted me to let me know he was leaving the pizza by the door, and was very nice and respectful. I would have given more of a tip for his professionalism but had to stay away due to COVID, but next time Joe comes through he'll get a bigger tip! As for the pizzeria itself, they left us a very nice message that meant a lot to us, writing under the top of the box "Feel better! From Pizzaioli!" We were genuinely surprised by the message and it just shows this place cares about their customers and these are the types of local businesses I love having here on Staten Island. We've ordered from them quite a bit recently and I have to say they are super consistent with their food. Their Neapolitan is traditional NY and still tastes special. I think their best offering is their Sicilian and Buffalo slices. I'd rate them #1 for Sicilian on the island for sure and have heard others compare it to L&B in BK and I agree. The Buffalo is my favorite from them though. Never in my life have I tasted a slice of pizza so good. Their entrees and heroes are very good too and they actually feed you. I hope if anyone's in the area they give Pizzaioli a chance. They're in the Atrium plaza where All-Star used to be. Seriously top notch food. Definitely one of the top pizzerias on the island.
