“I love Absecon Dairy Queen. They are mainly ice cream and treats, with limited other food. This is your old fashioned, hometown ice cream stand. They're open March-October (approximately), no indoor seating, walk up windows. The service is always pleasant and polite. This is a family owned business since they opened (50+ years ago?), and they are great about supporting the surrounding community.“

“Supremely tasty food and very friendly staff! We had the Masala Fries, which were perfectly crisp and tossed with a flavorful blend of spices. The Chilli Chicken was served in a tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet sauce brimming with soy and fresh ginger. We also ordered Kheemo, a shredded egg dish served with rounds of toast on the side, and it was just as tasty as the other two. We’ll definitely be returning soon!“
“Girls are great. Fruit is fresh and everything is presented neatly, no sloppy dripping ever. Only (recurring) disappointment is they never have the grilled hotdogs. Kids (us adults too) want hotdogs off a grill, but we're always told they only offer them if cooked in their microwave ?... Otherwise, it's great!!“
“Customer service food is popping hot lot of transy people coming in trying to use the bathroom. But you're paying guest you have to pay the price because they were able to use the restroom with their needles gloves and clogging up the toilet so you can't even use it. They even have a special restroom just for the employees that you can't use because they know that the other people that are out from the outside destroys it as far as anything else they need to have more control over it I'm sure it cost them a lot of money to fix it each and every time I do visit this place three times a week and every time I walk or see something going on there's always an out of order sign or it's smell.This is a food establishment you don't want to smell that when you're ordering Popeye's Fried Chicken don't you think it would Clash“
“We had lunch here after visiting Lucy the Elephant. It was about a 6 minute walk from Lucy. Their chocolate milkshake was a generous size for the price, and one of the tastiest I've had. Service was friendly and fast. Their signature burger with the branded bun was also very good. They sell gourmet dog treats so you know it's a dog-friendly spot. You can eat inside, outside or do a pick-up from the outside window. There is free street parking on the residential streets, if you can find it.“

A few quarters is all you need to have a very realistic hologram of Frank Sinatra serenade you in the bathroom of this fine rest area. The hologram jukeboxes only take quarters and singles, naturally the change machines are always out of change due to the high demand, so make sure you bring some change! “Five guys chains are great. Fresh cooked burgers and fries with plain and spicy options. Keep in mind it takes a little more time as things are made fresh. There is a whole board full of toppings you can choose for your junior or larger burger options. They offer free peanuts as you wait. You can fill/refill your own soda cups. Overall a tasty alternative to the major chains at a higher cost. The cost is negated by the quality and freshness. Everyone was friendly at this location.“
