“In early January, my friends and family celebrated my 60th birthday with me at Mister C’s. Kevin the bartender went out of his way to make this happy hour celebration special for me. Karen (hope I got her name right) made sure we had a nice area by the bar to celebrate. It was absolutely lovely! The food and drinks were outstanding! Thank you !“

Agnolotti pasta and sweet potato hush puppies as appetizers to start and oh, what a start it was. Monk fish and a bacon-jam encrusted pork chop, both cooked to perfection, as entrees. Lemon tart and a you-gotta-try-it-once-in-your-life “budino,” for dessert. (Do you know stressed spelled backwards is desserts?) What’s a budino you ask? Adult pudding, whipped by angels, so addictive it must have been created by Satan. Farm to Table, fresh, sustainable, local, tucked away on a side street in Red Bank… and you get to bring your own favorite wine. Don’t go. Don’t tell your friends. Let this gem be all mine.“

“Elli’s backyard is a fabulous brunch and dinner spot with EXCELLENT service. We fell in love with the food and atmosphere of the place on New Year’s Day. We had an excellent brunch there and asked if they hosted bigger parties. This weekend we celebrated my 30th birthday there and they couldn’t be more accommodating. We had 25 people and they moved the tables so that we were all sitting together. They also added special touches like a champagne cart (it’s BYOB so we brought our own champagne but they decorated the cart nicely for us and put out pitches of orange juice), chalkboard birthday signs on the table, and bringing our complimentary dessert with a fun firecracker when it was time to sing. They allowed us to bring in additional decorations and cupcakes for dessert. They had 3-4 servers waiting on us who couldn’t have been sweeter. The owner, Patrick, checked in with us throughout our brunch to make sure everything was perfect. The service was above and beyond! And the FOOD! The food was SO delicious! Everyone was SO happy with what they ordered! Delicious menu items that are large portions and creatively plated. They allowed us to take our time and catch up with everyone at our party and did not rush us out. We couldn’t recommend Elli’s backyard more! We thank Patrick and his workers so much for making my birthday extra special! We highly recommend to everyone and can’t wait to come back!“

Any food items that we have ordered are delicious. Lauren Guenther is one of our favorite servers. She's a sweetheart. She's very friendly, personable, and very focused on what she's doing. We know Lauren from when she served at Carrabba's. She was very special to us back then as she is now. Being local residents, we visit River Rock frequently during the summer and we will ALWAYS request either Lauren or Kelsey Conover because we simply adore them both. “I went to the Robinson Ale House on June 29, 2024. Service was excellent. The waitress was wonderful. My husband and I had lunch. I had a T-bone steak special , he had meatloaf. They were excellent. We had key lime pie for dessert. Really good too. We were seated outside on the side because we needed shade. Planning another trip in August. I can’t wait to try the Drunken Clams this time if it’s still on their menu. I hope I get the same waitress. If they still have the T-bone on their daily special I recommend you get that. I had mine medium rare. Quite pricey but well worth it. The rest of the menu is moderately priced. Good generous sized portions. Definitely recommend. 5 stars“

Excellent smoke, ribs melt in your mouth, Hushpuppies like crunchy little bites of Southern Sunshine...the coleslaw fresh and the Cornbread should be listed inder deserts it's so sweet and moist. I would give them 7 stars if possible.“
