It was so good my husband had his favorite chicken Parmesan with Bolognese sauce super scrumptious, and I had the beef Wellington with pasta. it was absolutely outstanding. The rolls these sandwiches were served were fantastic 😋 The sammies were NOT "packed" with fillings like a cheesesteak joint. Nicely presented with homemade potato chips. Quality of ingredients is huge because I can't eat a lot. The red wine vinegar and olive oil was top notch. I use red wine vinegar almost daily 😋 I would definitely go back for the same meal, about 1hr from my home and worth the trip 😋“

We were celebrating something small, but meaningful. When we called they had no reservations available for the evening, but then called us back and squeezed us in at 4:30. The power went out in the entire city after we were served our first course. We were served our entrees in the dark, with the same elegance, as of nothing had occurred. Even with the unfortunate circumstances, we were treated like royalty by the entire staff, and had an exceptional dining experience. I will be dreaming of the escarole, until I have it again. “You will always see this place full of happy returning patrons and we are two of them. Food quality is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. You have to try their Brick Oven pizzas. If you crave an American cheese hoagie, that is prepared on the best tasting roll in New Jersey, delicious cheese, and crisp lettuce and onions, try one of theirs. “I was up by Trenton for a dentist appt and went to get my lab work up there instead of by my house as I had time. I stopped by D&C as it looked interesting and I was hungry af. I drooled over much of the store (and enjoyed a sample!) before I settled on a peanut butter bomb. It took me 2 weeks to finish it, it was that rich. But OMG was it delicious. I somehow didn't lick the wrapper it was in, but it was by far the best dessert I have had in many years. I am sad this isn't close to me, but then again, probably for the best as everything there looked amazing! The line was long and everyone anxious to have lunch. I would definitely recommend! Part of the reason for my review is that I can search back and recall the name...if I am ever in the area...or in the mood for a road trip!❤️“
