“We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

We opted for sandwiches. 2 ordered the roast pork, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone and both finished and raved how delicious 😋 Other 2 of us ordered the cheesesteak with LTO, red wine vinegar and olive oil, I added light mayo. The rolls these sandwiches were served were fantastic 😋 The sammies were NOT "packed" with fillings like a cheesesteak joint. Nicely presented with homemade potato chips. Quality of ingredients is huge because I can't eat a lot. The red wine vinegar and olive oil was top notch. I use red wine vinegar almost daily 😋 I would definitely go back for the same meal, about 1hr from my home and worth the trip 😋“

The food was absolutely delicious -- Burrata, Gnocchi Pesto, Penne with Walnut Sauce and Rigatoni Ragu were especially everyone's favorites. The staff was polite, attentive, and so patient, even when we stayed past closing time. Thank you, Francesca and team for making our night so special. “Hands down one of the BEST and I mean Top 3 Italian American delis ive eatened at on the east coast. Im from NYC and have had a ton of Italian food deli spots. This one here is special. I hope they dont change anything, but ive been going here for about 2 years, well my co workers and i come quite a few times a year in our lunch break and Ive never had anything i didn't think was just great. The chicken cutlet and Tommy D are the go to's but they have so many other great things there. Great bread. Great vodka sauce. I can go on all day. They're REALLY GOOD!!!!“

“Food is always good, people are friendly the only problem I had is outside of this. Today when I paid I used my debit card instead of paying cash like I have every other time this was around 12:15pm today. The employee made a big deal about it being a NASA Card (my mom worked at Nasa & I have had an account there since 10th grade) By 1:30pm someone had attempted to use my card for a $1,339 AT&T purchase that was declined three times then used some Delta D account to charge $799.60 and unfortunately the second attempt work. I just came from the location and and all I had was smoke blown up my but. Either an employee or patron did something and they have a camera inside the store but was told the owner has the key. If the owner would just let me know when he will be there I will show up and we can handle this like gentlemen. I have been going to this place for over 5 years and work near by. For the record the card has been cancelled and NASA is tracking where charges are being attempted from. Paul“

“Thank you for hosting an amazing After Pass for my family and friends! The tables were set up beautifully as we arrived. The food came out in courses, hot and fresh. We are traditional Italian cooks by heritage, and we could not get over the incredible meatballs! They made the chicken piccata with just the right amount of lemon and capers. The last course was an assortment of Italian mini desserts that were scooped up in a matter of minutes!! The only complaint we had was the chef would not part with the meatball recipe. Thank you again JoAnne and Frank for a memorable ending to my mom's end of life celebration.“

“I was up by Trenton for a dentist appt and went to get my lab work up there instead of by my house as I had time. I stopped by D&C as it looked interesting and I was hungry af. I drooled over much of the store (and enjoyed a sample!) before I settled on a peanut butter bomb. It took me 2 weeks to finish it, it was that rich. But OMG was it delicious. I somehow didn't lick the wrapper it was in, but it was by far the best dessert I have had in many years. I am sad this isn't close to me, but then again, probably for the best as everything there looked amazing! The line was long and everyone anxious to have lunch. I would definitely recommend! Part of the reason for my review is that I can search back and recall the name...if I am ever in the area...or in the mood for a road trip!❤️“

“Mr. Subs in East Brunswick never disappoints! The sandwiches are always fresh, loaded with flavor, and made exactly the way you want them. The cheesesteak sub is absolutely incredible — perfectly seasoned steak, melted cheese, and fresh bread that ties it all together. Every bite was packed with flavor and the portion size was more than worth it. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and you can tell they care about the quality of their food. Easily one of the best spots around when you’re craving a great sub. Highly recommend the cheesesteak!“

Trying to do this as a surprise for my family, I was calling from Colorado not knowing true reputations. I not only found good Italian, I found fantastic and authentic! Sal's genuine care for my phone order was beyond words. I ordered trays of eggplant rollatini, chicken parmesan, lasagna, fresh vegetables and garlic knots which was fresh, hot and delivered on time. Can't say THANK YOU enough for helping me feel present with my family when I couldn't actually be present.
