“I've tried all the local pizza joints, and this is the best in this area. Super friendly staff, always attentive. Not sure what it is about the dough, but it's so much better than the other places. I like the sesame crust on the round pies, the jersey square pie is our go to for Friday pizza night. I can't recommend the Peter's Special, though, not sure what it was but the crust on that one was like cardboard when we tried it
Update: I had to take one star off, as my latest visit they added a 3.9% credit card surcharge. That’s a bit excessive. It’s understood that the banks charge around 3-3.5% to process the transaction. How about split it with the customer?? Hate to say it but I had to cut back on going out for pizza, last visit I paid $75 for two pies! With the tax, tip, and credit card fee. Weekly pizza night is now monthly pizza night....“

“I’ve been coming here for years and they seriously have the BEST pizza ever!! 🍕 I’m obsessed with their buffalo chicken pizza and margherita pizza, both are SO good every single time. Their garlic knots are amazing too! Definitely one of my favorite pizza places and a spot I keep coming back to over and over again!“

“After our favorites restaurants Il Nido and Covo permanently closed we had been looking for Italian place that does not fit into Italian American culinary pattern of chicken parmesan, spaghetti with meatballs and galamad:) La Lupa fits the bill. I’m giving it overall five stars with few things for improvement. Food: the most important thing in the restaurant. We had tuna crudo - 7/10 (tasty, tender, fresh but a bit bland, lacking flavors), burrata 10/10 (simply fantastic just like in Puglia), focaccia 10/10 (more like bruschetta), pasta BUCATINI AMATRICIANA 10/10 (perfect, al dente), olive cake for desert 9/10 (interesting flavors, moist, moderately sweet), espresso and americano both 2/10 (terrible, watery, nothing close to real Italian espresso).
Service: simply outstanding,, polite, friendly, attentive without being annoying.
Ambience: 8/10. It was too dark, could not see the menu. Music was too loud, it was difficult to communicate. Otherwise atmosphere was good, tastefully decorated interior.
We will be back with friends. I hope they fix the coffee by that time.“
