“We all know the prices for meats and eggs etc have sored, but the size of their portions and quality of the food makes it easy to come back again and again. Also, they use Boars Head meets, which are natural and not processed. Nice people to deal with. You won't regret stopping in there.“

“Grabbed both breakfast (BEC PK) on a roll and then lunch (Sausage, Peppers and Onions) today, both were great. The breakfast sandwich was layered perfectly between the meat, 3 eggs and cheese that it came with. It wasn’t greasy and it also wasn’t falling apart when you were eating it. The Sausage, Peppers and Onions sub came on some really fresh bread, had a ton of flavoring and again, not greasy. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area and want to try something delicious on the go.“

“While the store is small, it carries a nice selection of polish foods and delicacies. You can get meats, sweets, bread and cheese alongside with polish sauerkraut, pickles etc. Store is small, but much closer to those living in Morris county then equivalents in Garfield or Clifton.
If you are new to polish food - I highly recommend stopping by and sampling - service is fast, friendly and with a smile.“
“I recently ordered a 3 foot sub, macaroni salad and potato salad for a family event. Everything was delicious. The macaroni and potato salads were a big hit. I was asked multiple times where I got them. Scott and Chris were a pleasure to deal with.“
“My favorite place to stop at on the lake for an ice-cream. We usually paddle up to the docks on our SUPs (stand up paddleboard). Grab a cone of real (Jefferson Dairy I believe) ice-cream and then back on the lack for some awesome paddling.
Highly recommended for a quick bite, all kinds of tchotchkes, signs, toys, games and a bunch of other stuff that I believe are locally made. It's a must visit, especially for those that want to revisit simpler times.“

“Come back to stillwater area every December to visit family. Since taylor ham egg and cheese is not available in montana and they've never heard of a hard roll i tend to eat one 3 times a week while I'm here and fredon deli has the best in the county. The rest of the food is pretty darn good also.“

“Just had a delicious "mouthful" and it sure was. Only ate half. The rest for tomorrow! Also.bought your "bagful dozen". Thought it would be good for you to have a list of your bagel flavors on your website so that we could know what flavors to order, changing the list for seasonal, and new flavors added or deleted. I thought I had one from you but could not find it. Just a thought. But whatever you decide, keep those delicious bagels baking. Thank you.“

“Great bagels, which is what I usually get when I am there. So far, I have not tasted a better bagel in this part of New Jersey. The drawback is the prices ,like everywhere else, are getting very high. I do understand it's the increases in supplies that add to the cost. I only purchase the bagels and coffee here, and the French toast bagel is fantastic and has never been beaten in my eyes anywhere in the northeast. I do use the taste of the bagels at this establishment as my baseline to compare other bagel places.
Parking: Depending on the time of day parking is either great or very tough. There is a parking lot for about thirty cars. I have found it full which means the food line is out the door. It's summer and people are on vacation as well as those working stuffs who need to eat before going to work, so be patient things are made to order.“

“Great little family run deli!
We get take-out sandwiches (breakfast and lunch primarily) fairly regularly from G&S.
I've only been disappointed once by a slightly stale sub roll, 99.9% of our sandwiches have been perfect, so the one roll was just a fluke.
We are ALWAYS satisfied by their terrific comfort food. I highly recommend G&S!“
“I can’t recommend the deli enough for their subs! The 6foot sub we got for my daughter’s birthday party was not only delicious but a work of art! Thank you Swartswood Deli!“
“This place is a gem. Well priced and many options for a quick, grab n' go breakfast, lunch, or snack. You can get hot coffee, hot or cold sandwiches, a variety or sides including tuna and salad. The owners are very pleasant and fast with orders. Place is small but functional and clean. Reminds me of a New York corner store. 5 stars! Highly recommend.“

“As a deli, with regular service. This place is what you would expect. However, if you order a sandwich from this place, OMG!! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! True sleeper spot!! The bread is insane, that's half the sandwich right there! They use Thuman's meat and cheese so right there is the other half of the sandwich! And they make it exactly how you ask!!! Absolutely amazing! Hands down best sandwich in the entire region over any pizzeria or sandwich shop! I'm truly impressed“
