“My wife and I were looking to get our reception party catered. After the first attempt at one deli, we decided to look elsewhere and stumbled upon Summit and Main. We are so glad we did. From the day of ordering to pick up everything went smooth. My wife and mother in law were sat down and went over menu, and all of our questions were answered. They suggested their best sellers and how much of everything to order. Everything was a hit and everyone loved the food. We can not recommend Summit and Main enough. “Let me start off by saying I grew up in Philadelphia and ate cheesesteaks regularly ever since I was quite young. I know these folks here are known for their “best of NJ” Taylor Ham ;not pork roll ( almost forgot where I was) and cheese. I’ve had it here before and I do believe it is incredible and stands up to the claims. However… the cheesesteak they make here may not be getting enough love. You should consider it and understand that it could put up a fight with some of the best in Philly. 10/10. Would order again, and again … and again. Also, the guys here are great to chat with.“

“I had a spinich/mozzarella omelette w/ side of sausage, home fries and toast. It was fantastic; fluffy eggs, not over done at all. 2 large, tasty sausage patties. This meal is like $7 or $8 more at other diners. Exceeded expectations on price, taste, portion and quality. I will absolutely return to try something off the lunch menu soon.“
“A walk into Otto's is a walk back into the past when neighborhoods had small businesses and everyone knew one another. But one thing didn't change. The high quality and authentic homemade German salads, delicious sandwiches, German specialties and frozen treats (for the Bogue Pond playground visitors) are tallied up the old fashioned way by Helmut, the owner, with a pencil on your bag. There's even an old hand-cranked cash register to make your change. I've been a customer over 30 years, and highly recommend. We need more places like Otto's Deli.“

“If you love quirky places with good food at cheap prices you'll fall in love with the Road House Deli on Myrtle Avenue in Boonton! Talk about a hole in the wall place! There is wonderful Polish food made fresh, just like in Mama's kitchen if she was a good and interested cook. There's a table full of individually wrapped Polish pastries and they sell coffee, tea and food to go. Along the side wall are four tiny vintage booths so you can eat here in comfort. Today was my first time and the potato pancakes were large and tasty, the pirogies were excellent and the owner put extra onions on top just like in Poland. We also had the meatballs with rice stuffing and gravy and real Kielbasa. Warren, a frequent lunch customer (Several times a week) was so enthusiastic. He eats one lunch in the Road House Deli and takes home a second for his dinner. Warren said to try the creamy horseradish dressing on the potato pancakes. He also says he comes every Tueaday for the special spinach casserole which says is excellent. I'm recommending the Road House Deli for good home style cooking, low prices and talk about local color. There is a must be at least 60 year old phonograph and hundreds of LP albums. You choose what you want to hear, put the record on the phonograph and get the music you want without having to pay a jukebox fee. Now how cool is that?“

“we've lived about a 15 minute walk away for over 27 years. this place has never gone down in quality. my son grew up loving the Reuben's and now lives in CA and still heads there for a Reuben whenever he comes home. “Dinner report from Nov 25th. After turkey on Thanksgiving, we needed an Italian meal for our family of four and Vitale's delivered. Serving dinner on the weekend, the deli is transformed into a trattoria courtesy of black linen tablecloths and black screens which hide the refrigerated deli cases from view. The "Spiedini" is a must order from the list of starters. The specials are super - we quite enjoyed chicken and veal dishes - but the fish and shellfish are where the restaurant shines. On this night the lobster ravioli were served with the both shrimp and scallops. The service is both friendly and efficient. Water glasses are kept filled and BYO wine is opened promptly. We will return to this gem of a restaurant!“

They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. “I stopped at Mimi’s on my way back to NC last month on 10/29/23. I am originally from NJ and wanted to take home bagels since I haven’t been able to find a really good bagel spot in NC. This space was cozy and warm and smelled so good! The staff/owner was attentive and friendly. I ordered a bagel with pastrami and egg and assorted bagels to take home. The bagels were huge, fresh and absolutely delicious! I remember thinking that day as I walked to my car that I should go back in and get more?. I highly recommend this spot.
