“This place is fantastic! I just bought a home in Rahway and Stas is right at the end of my new street. I was born and raised in central Connecticut and this shop reminds me of the places you can find in New Britain which is basically Connecticut’s “little Poland”.The couple times I’ve gotten food here so far, it reminds me of my grammy’s home cooking. I only wish that she had taught me to speak Polish so I could better understand the types of food they sell here (especially the kielbasa)! Either way, I will be visiting frequently and I suggest you do the same!“

“This place is such a great hidden gem in the back of many businesses in Springfield Ave.l of summit. The employees are very friendly and the quality of the food justify it's prices. “Someone recommended I come here and try some of the pre-made specialties. It is a small place, but there is no lack in options. Everything really just looked so good, I picked out a few things for me and my son. I picked up some Chicken francese and chicken Marsala, some marinated artichokes and some seafood salad. All of it, DELICIOUS! I have been a chef for many years so I can be picky and I can tell when places cheap out on ingredients. I did not get that vibe from here. I'm pretty sure I could taste the love. Highly Highly recommended“

Keeps pre made food in fridge, soups, sauce, etc. Sauce is great, especially for a quick dinner. Overall great food. “Last July after coming home from a trip I was looking for a new local breakfast sandwich spot. I did what anybody else would do. I Googled it. I saw that this place was pretty local to me and I stopped in. I ordered a couple of sandwiches and everything was fantastic. Great prices along with a great portion. I haven’t stopped eating there since and I’m there at least once a week.“

“I went to Subworks recently, and it was great! The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. They have a lot of sub options, and the portions are really big.

I tried the Buffalo Chicken sub, and it was so tasty! The bread was fresh and crispy, and the meats and veggies were really good. Everything was balanced perfectly, and they didn’t hold back on the ingredients.

The place was clean and comfortable, which made the experience even better. Overall, I think Subworks is a great spot if you want a filling, delicious sub at a good price. I’ll definitely be back!“

“I love coming to this deli. Sonia always greets me when I walk through the door and remembering what I love to have the Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll nothing on it. I went enough times to adj for just my usual and it's so respectful and enjoyable to hear them remember you and what you love to eat. The prices have kept inching up over the months, but I loved coming here now and then to keep enjoying my favorite sandwiches and supporting this friendly and wonderful business. This place went through 2 owner changes before it was stephs deli. Overall whenever I'll go to school or work and I need a quick breakfast I'll turn to stephs deli. Thank you my friends!!“

“Love this little Gem of a place. I walked in here by accident just thinking I would get a quick drink. I saw they had food and ordered a sloppy Joe. It was delicious. I thought I smelled Indian food and the owner said he made it fresh. I tried the paneer and tandoori chicken rice bowl and was absolutely floored by how good it was. I also didn’t expect to see higher end liquor on the shelf and a great wine selection. Definitely a spot to try for Indian food or regular deli type food.“

“Mike and Sue have been owners of South Clinton Avenue deli for the past 27 years and they are dedicated very honest hard-work people. I’m always the first to complain about poor food and service, but I’ve been to S. Clinton Ave. deli several times and they are always friendly and the service is quick!! “I had a spinich/mozzarella omelette w/ side of sausage, home fries and toast. It was fantastic; fluffy eggs, not over done at all. 2 large, tasty sausage patties. This meal is like $7 or $8 more at other diners. Exceeded expectations on price, taste, portion and quality. I will absolutely return to try something off the lunch menu soon.“

“Had the #57 Philly cheesesteak with fries. It was oh so good. The beef was tender. The pepper and onions were cooked right and the cheese was melted. It was not cheese whiz either. It was fresh but American cheese. The ambiance is a cross between a diner and a delicatessen and always clean. I also ordered their homemade cheesecake. It is to die for. It’s so creamy. Definitely this a a stop over when in Millburn or in the area. I’m a regular here. The owners and staff are always so friendly.“

“It’s an excellent Russian food store with a lot of a la cart food options (they cook it for you so you don’t have to ?). We have been their customers for over 6 years. This store carries quite a variety of Eastern European food staples: pretty much everything from herring, kefir, deli meats to any sweet treat, jam and tea imaginable. I love their ice cream selection, my reward for driving to Livingston ?. My parents love fresh pirozhki and chebureki.
Olga and Elena, the store owners are very cordial and helpful. We always come back for more treats, especially Napoleon cake ?“
