“Absolutely loved this place and so glad to have found it on a recent trip to Asbury.
We tried the Americano and a bagel - both were excellent. Good enough that we made time to go back before heading to the train and bought some Black & Tan beans to take home, which are also so good!!
Not many tables but that wasn’t an issue for us. The fact that you can see them roasting the beans is a nice touch as well.“

“All my coffee beans come from Rook! Some of my coffee mugs, too. I have the kind of machine that grinds whole beans before pouring. Rook's Nicaragua and Guatemala are favorites. The staff are all so friendly. Lots of locations, too.“

“hands down my favorite coffee shop. The two girls behind the counter are so friendly and seem to know every customers order by heart. The coffee is always delicious and the service is always quick; everything served with a smile! i’d give more than five stars to this store and their staff!“

“Forget the rest, AP is the best.
Don’t be fooled by new comer coffee shops in Asbury Park. If you want good fresh roasted coffee, look no further. Take the walk to 2nd Ave. The folks working are always kind and there is comfy seating if you want I stay. The iced coffee is god tier, probably the best I’ve ever had. Rich and flavorful but no bitterness. I’ve been coming here for years and have started bringing the beans home for when I’m not in town. I’ve ordered also from their website and deliver was fast and easy. Now when I have visitors at my home they remark at how good my coffee is, the best they say. I say yes, yes it is.“
