I've lived in Asbury Park since 2006 and have always ordered my take-out Chinese food from Gold Lee. Basic, standard fare Chinese food that they make fast, and they offer brown rice, which was a big selling point for me, a New Yorker who'd recently moved to the Shore. Friendly family operates and owns the business. Delicious! I had the Steamed Dumplings and the Egg roll with a small rice. (yes they are all apps) The dumpling ga are sweet and salty and the sauce really adds to the flavor. The egg roll was a standard egg roll that most Chinese places have. Finally the rice was a good consistency and was sticky and was great with the dumplings. All in all 10-10.

Ordered Beef in Garlic sauce with Fried rice. Garlic sauce is pure sugar. The beef - not sure what that is but it tastes as bad as it looks. Got white rice instead of Fried rice which was a god send since the only thing I could eat. Wonton soup was all salt. I have not been able to find good Chinese food in Asbury if someone has a recommendation that would be great
