My family of 5, including three children (9, 6 and 2) stayed at Harrah’s last week. While my two-year-old was playing in our room he found an unknown pill at the corner of the bed and placed it in his mouth. I immediately called the front desk and security came up and took a report. Terrifying experience — zero security and zero responsibility!
We booked our stay at Harrah’s Atlantic City through Expedia, and it turned into a nightmare.
At 5 AM, someone entered our room on the 32nd floor and stole all the cash and credit cards from the table. The door was closed, but not latched — and we were never warned that this could leave us exposed to theft.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds in a non-smoking room 3 weeks in advance only to be told at check in (after waiting in line for 45 minutes) that it wasn’t available as they overbooked. We were charged $463 on their website only to get there and be told it was really $710. The marijuana smell was everywhere and the room we ended up with was one bed and a cot that had springs poking through. Parking was a joke and valet took 30 minutes or more to bring the car around.
