The Pool After Dark Nightlife is a party by the pool on select days and times. Entry starts at 11pm with some auto music playing, and the featured DJ comes around 1am. The atmosphere is cool, with a nice Lazer show and a happening crowd. The venue is pretty big, with a huge patio upstairs, a jacuzzi, and a pool with lifeguards on duty. Security is tight with a lengthy process like going through airport security T.S.A., and there are silly dress code rules that are sometimes not enforced. Some employees are rude, others friendly. Drinks are expensive, and there is a $5 charge to check in items like jackets, baseball caps, and perfume. The bathrooms are too far. For shows, the dome shape place makes an echo, and the sound is horrible, making it hard to hear the music clearly. The announced artists often come very late, sometimes after 1am or at 2am. Without a table reserve, guests stand the whole time. It is a decent experience, aspiring to be a night club but falling short with not a lot of lights or special effects. However, it is a worthwhile experience and a great venue for shows, with pool and hot tub access, lockers, and a smoking section.
