“We went to Sunzup Cafe last week. was very impressed. I had the eggs benidict. it was fantastic. the food was great. the workers were great. I will definitely go back. highly recommended. They make Fresh Fruit Pies. I was planning on going back to get one and take it home. but didn't get a chance to go back. They are open 7 am to 1pm. serving Breakfast and Brunch. This is a gem in Wildwood Crest. I give it 10 stars. Everyone should put this on their go to place. you can eat outside or indoors. Get there early“
“Although Stone Harbor is my happy place when I come over from Delaware, this was my first time visiting the Pier. Wonderful visit. I sat at the counter since I was alone and was able to see the grill hard at work. The food was wonderful, expedited by “Master Chef” Eric and the team of merry men! I got the Double Trouble with blueberry pancakes. Nice size pancakes, not too heavy, just right for me. Met the families that make the Pier their’s. One thing I truly value was the camaraderie amongst the staff. They are a hard working team and no one appeared to be walking on eggshells or overly agitated. It is clear they not only care for their customers, but also each other. I would recommend this place to anyone.“
“The food is always good. I cannot complain at all about the food. The atmosphere needs a bit of TLC but again nothing to cry about. The service however.. I cringe just to think about it. We came in as a family while the place was empty. We ordered coffee & juice, recieved it then never saw the waitress. The place filled up and all their orders got taken before ours. Our waitress came up saying "I took your order right?" I said "no actually you didn't." She then asked why I didn't say anything.. I would have if I had seen her. I didn't see her at all to get her. Then the next day we came in. The place wasn't packed and I was hopeful that this time service would be great. Nope. We sat there for 10 mins before the man up front who takes payment and pours coffee asked if we had been taken care of. I was annoyed still about our visit the day before so I told him we wanted to order everything. We never saw a waitress. He served us. I told my fiance to hand him the tip directly because he had given us great service. I'll be back because it's convenient & the food is good.“
“My granddaughter and I ate breakfast here while on vacation. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was very good. I ordered the broccoli omelet with a side of home fries. My granddaughter ordered the hotcakes. We will definitely be returning.“
“Cash only! All iced coffee is premade (including "espresso" for iced lattes) but is decent enough. Have non-dairy milk options available as well as a few gluten free food options. Got the fancy rice cakes which were a bit overpriced but yummy.“
“My favorite Sea Isle breakfast place by a mile. Love the food, of course - breakfast burrito, pancakes, waffles, omelets are all great. Waffle fries are a special touch. Family atmosphere. Even on busy beach weekends they get you in and out.“
“Great breakfast this morning on the water. Bacon and cheese omelette was delicious as was my wife's chocolate chip brioche french toast. Inside and outside dining is available. Breakfast and lunch stop, very good. Service was great as well as the atmosphere.“
“We come here for coffee every morning while on vacation every year. The coffee and esspresso are very good. Today we tried the breakfast for the first time and we enjoyed it. We both had an omelet and homefries. My daughter had a bacon and egg sandwich. We all were happy with our food. My favorite is the coffee though.“
“The Fishin’ Pier is the high point of our week in Avalon every year. We make a point to go every day. Outstanding service from everyone we encountered. The owners are a treat and the servers consistently go above and beyond, especially with our toddler. More importantly, the food is incredible. Perfect omelets across the board, and better pancakes than the chain down the street. Being able to hear the waves while you eat is the cherry on top“
