The Vegetables was fresh and crunchy, The cashier told me that I can always customize my bowl, so I ordered The vegetables without carrot. “Garlic Rose is our family's place for special dinners! The food is always fresh and delicious. We usually get Sangria by the pitcher, its sooo good! They make you feel like family at their house for dinner. The wait staff are very professional and well versed in the menu. I highly recommend The Garlic Rose.“

“The service here is truly 5 stars, worth it to return for that attention and comfort. They have the routine down and give you the attention you want and feel special on for a night out. Definitely recommend reservations as it got major crowded in the tables and around the bar. Their cocktail list is impressive and was not disappointing in execution. We had the stuffed mushrooms to start and it was juicy though underseasoned. Their steaks were exactly what you want and I recommend the au poivre sauce as a tangy condiment. That was memorable for sure. The place overall just seems dark and outdated in furnishings, especially in the bathrooms. Their food hits the mark and service makes it worth returning.“

“Walked in on a busy Saturday evening with my wife. The place was bustling but we were able to grab two seats at the bar after waiting about 10 minutes. Sara was tending bar and she greeted us right away. We shared a steak, arugula salad, a side of onion rings, and had a couple of drinks. One of the best meals we've had in a while on datenight and Sara's service was top notch. My wife and I go to Roots often and we found the food and service better here. Atmosphere was more authentic too. Hope to be back soon.“

“I was impressed with this restaurant, we enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance and service. I came for a business lunch. Ate inside the porch area that was enclosed. I thought the service was very good in terms of attentiveness. The food we got was flat bread pizza for appetizer, pepperoni with hot honey was delicious. The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water. I did think the prices were a bit inflated and expensive however their service made up for it.“

“You get a very good size pita here! About the size of a biiiiig overstuffed burrito. The smoked eggplant in the falafel supreme is soooo good. Crepe was good too, it's one big crepe folded into a square instead of the usual rolls I'm used to. Definitely a share worthy size. Quick and friendly service too :)“

Besides the exception food quality and service each week, this week during my visit I dropped 2 x $100 bills while getting into my car. I receive a message on facebook messenger from Danny Derosa that they found something i dropped. one of their employees found it in the parking lot turned it in to Danny and he took the time to check the cameras and realize it was me who dropped it (you could imagine how busy it was Saturday morning) Thank you, it is my pleasure to shop here.“

“I love Coffee Box, but most of the time, a majority of their bakery items are not available in the morning before 8:30 AM, and some of the remaining bakery items are not fresh. This is not acceptable for a shop of this caliber, which otherwise maintains a good standard. The service is inconsistent, which is understandable, but please have the bakery items ready to go when you open the shop at 7:45 AM.“

I didn't think shops did this anymore - especially ones with slices this nice. Even if you put the price aside for a moment, a tasty sauce atop a thin crust with a satisfying crunch makes this one fine slice. So glad we discovered this place.“

“Van Gogh's Ear Cafe has been a fixture in union for quite a few decades. Yes decades ! Atmosphere is very different and unique let's say it has evolved from one year to the next. Sorta my grandma used to have one or I remember seeing it somewhere. Service is very efficient. Very on the money. Although the decor changes by the minute the food is not to be overlooked. Especially there BLT it's Outstanding to say the least. A must try.“

I tried their cannoli, blueberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies as well as shortbread cookies (all delicious & not too sweet!) My friend also enjoyed her Tiramisu.They have fresh bread and a plethora of sweet treats. The staff is extremely friendly and patient. We ordered some treats to eat there and some to-go. There are about 8 seats for dine-in.My one comment would be if they can label some of their items as I had trouble figuring out what some dishes were. However, I went super early on a Monday so perhaps they were still setting up for the day. The staff was super patient with all my questions Highly recommend & plan to come back again!Parking: Paid parking lot few blocks away or paid meter street parking available. Make sure to pay your metered parking on-time as several agents are seen double-checking meters frequently.“

“Went to yestoday, yesterday and got the bubble cone. The whole experience was amazing and you can’t say that often lately, we got the bubble cone. “Came here on a whim cuz I needed a quick bite before the gym. Had a slice and stromboli. Regular cheese slice. This spot has good fucking pizza. Thin crisp crust. Great marinara . It was so good I ate the crust which I usually toss. I'm from nyc, but I will admit, jersey does great fucking pizza. This place is a testament to that statement. Stromboli was amazing. Cheese was so damn good. Staff was super friendly great guys with great humor. Saw a lot of regulars coming in and busting chops. Great place to have a bite. Very glad I stopped in.“

The spicy ramen was not spicy and the broth was a little bland. The noodles were cooked well though. I had a Riesling glass of wine and the Avocado Spring Roll and the Shrimp Taco for a quick in and out move.I was impressed by the nice decor and ambiance. Pretty lay back yet comfortable and inviting. The bartender was pleasant and professional. I enjoyed my short visit, food and drink. I'm planning on coming back!“

“Above and beyond any expectations. Wanted to have some 7 layer cookies delivered to my house. It was for my sister's 50th birthday. By the way, I live in Tampa Florida. I'm originally from Staten Island and was a regular customer. The ladies that helped me were wonderful. Please forgive me but I can't remember their names right now. One of them was the owner herself. She kept in constant contact with me, to make sure they were delivered safely. She even called me from the UPS store to give me tracking info. Her and her employees really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Of course I was 100% plus satisfied. Also needless to say, those cookies really brought my family back to the there. “On a warm evening me and my friends drove to the skylark diner for early diner. We arrived around 6:30 and the restuarant was pretty empty. There was plentiful parking around the diner. The restuarant was very pleasing to the eyes with clocks from timezones all around the world decorating the walls. We were seated as soon we came in with a choice of seating at the regular booths or at the bar. Most of the seating in this indee is booth seating. The menu was both as big as other diners but the selection of food was still great! Most of the items were pretty expensive but they came with a soup or salad. My partner got the lemon chicken dish for 26$ and it was very tasty. I got the grilled flank steak sandwhich for 19$ and it cane with a side of fries in a cute little container. My food was very well seasoned and tasted very good. Our waiter had exceptional service tending to our needs and giving us extra time to look at the menu without being rushed. My overall experience was very good with my only downside being how expensive the food was.“
