Sandwich Shops near Barnegat Light

“Go here for breakfast and lunch sandwiches to go. Its an upscale market too inside a gas station so the ambiance is lacking but it fulfills a need in town for gourmet groceries breads and pastries.I like the sandwich combos and the gluten free cauliflower wrap is a very nice thing to have. I have a few gripes too.-no Swiss cheese (I eat Swiss cheese w my egg sammies and ham and roast beef sammies) I scratch my head with this oversight. 1 demerit.-the eggs "made to order" are not made to order they fry up like 25 eggs and leave them laying on the griddle until someone walks in and orders an egg sandwich. They taste overcooked and it's just not gourmet I think they should stop this practice. 2 demerits.-the ordering kiosk system is great and it frees up employees to cook etc but you cannot ask for things you might want personalized like eggs over easy, sunny side up etc. thus only cook your egg one way (see above). 2 demerits.-you can "add mayo" to your egg sammy but there's no option to add butter to the bagel or roll ‍. 1 demerit.-I ordered the Italian sub and it comes with oregano. It literally is like a oregano powder they ruined the sandwich it was terrible! We need an option for "delete oregano". 1 demerit.-when the kitchen calls your name when your order is ready they just throw the little cardboard box of food through the window. It doesn't have your name on it, or any identifier for confirmation of what you ordered. Also no bag. Please fix this it's poor user experience. 1 demerit.Based on demerits issued above this place is 3 stars but I have them 4 because they can easily improve to 4 by fixing a few simple issues. To get to 5 stars they would need to add salads, made to order breakfast, some scrapple, and more ambiance!“

“Great subs, great staff. The subs are huge and delicious. Ingredients seem to be top notch. I usually go there at slack times so I never have to wait, but the whole staff works together and gets me out of there fast anyway, and always with a smile. Highly recommended.“

“The restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are always attentive and the services always fast. There is a wide variety to choose from on the menu, but not so much that you can't make up your mind, which is nice! The sandwiches are amazing!“
