“Best Shrimp with String Beans I’ve had in a long time! The portions are generous, and the shrimp are actually large, not the tiny ones you find elsewhere. The sauce is savory with just a hint of sweetness and ginger . Perfect over a bowl of steamed white rice!!“

The best thing about this place is that the seafood is fresh. And the server super helpful and easy to talk to. We like discussing what seafood is fresh and what she recommends. I’ve been here twice, and will come back more.

“This is such a gem! Feels like eating at grandparents’ house. Everyone is so caring and friendly. Make sure you order the traditional Taiwanese food - this is the real deal here. Everything was good - so many things they make in the house properly - fish balls, shrimp rolls, sausage etc. they even have organic dishes. You can taste the care they put into making the food. I am touched. We were so happy with the food that we ordered takeout for dinner after having lunch here. They also gave me complimentary bitter melon side dish 🥹“

It’s been about 15 years that we’ve been ordering from Fan Bistro monthly (sometimes weekly!) We have also had several major celebrations at the restaurant. “Enjoyed Aikou for a girl's lunch with my sister-in-law. We found them attentive and punctual with service, as well as considerate with refilling water, clearing used plates, and providing clean replacements for our shared lunch without us needing to ask. The place was clean and decently spacious to maneuver my wheelchair, with comfortable seating options and simple decor. The noise level became a little loud acoustically when more people arrived, but it wasn't overwhelming and we could have a conversation comfortably. The food was freshly prepared and well-made with good quality ingredients, and they were able to accommodate my food allergies without trouble.“

Everything from the Thai ice tea to the appetizers while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive were seriously delicious. I had the massamun curry with chicken and licked my plate clean. Dessert was fried bananas, mango sticky rice and a traditional dessert pudding. I definitely recommend you stop in for a visit as everything on the menu looked and tasted great.“

“We walked into this place last minute on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday since another sushi place had been unable to accommodate gf. We could not have stumbled upon a better experience! Elan at the sushi bar made us a custom omakase tasting all gluten free and so delicious. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really created a one of a kind meal while making us feel special and taken care of. We ended up with about 15 different courses i believe all fabulous and ended with a special ice cream sushi dessert. Not just your average Thai restaurant, a very varied menu. I recommend the delicate little dumplings appetizer and the Lamb Chops with Lemongrass. Also, the Thai Sweet Tea was delicious and the wait staff and owners were patient, helpful and kind.“

“If you’re vegetarian - you HAVE to go eat at the restaurant. They cook veggies to such perfection!! The food is so Flavorful.. the pad Thai is yuuuuuummmy!!! We also love their fried rice with tofu Choo chee curry.

There is lots of hype about other Thai in the area, we’ve tried them but nothing tastes as fresh and yummy as this place does!! “Holy moly hands down the best Indian food outside of India! Do not hesitate to come here, you will be Soooooo glad you did. We had chicken 65, chicken Kashmiri and sag paneer. We also had a naan type bread that was stuffed with meat and cheese. We could not stop drooling before during and after our meal. GO HERE!“
