“We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. The owner was accommodating and extremely friendly; she made sure to check on us several times during the meal. Highly recommend!“

“We eat-in or take out from here about once per month. Mintea is a reliable spot for quality sushi in a casual atmosphere. The prices are decent and the quality is relatively high. When dining-in, the service is always personable and efficient.“

“By far the best hot and sour soup. Large sharable plates. Staff was very friendly. My friend had the fried tofu and was also very happy. The vegetable fried was very good although I would have liked to see more vegetables in it. But overall a great experienceDietary restrictions: They are very accommodatingParking: We arrived at around 2 pm and walked a few blocks to restaurant because parking was very limitedWheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways and walkways“

“The food was very good. Our party each tried something different and 4/5 of us loved our lunch entrees. The service here was very nice. Our waiter even provided a slice of avocado and a small spoon at no cost for the baby attending lunch with us. The atmosphere feels like you are actually in Thailand. Thank you for such kindness and yummy food!“

“There are many sushi places in the area, but we always come back to Yokohama. Every time we go, we know we will get delicious sushi at a fraction of the price compared to the restaurants around but the quality is still just as good, if not better! We got a seat at the bar, where we watched the sushi chefs work their magic. Fun atmosphere and delicious food!“

“For a Wednesday night the place is almost filled. There was a mixture of tables with large parties and smaller ones of couples. Everyone seems to be returning customers which is a good sign. The five dishes we ordered were well prepared with appetizing taste. While their American menu seem to cover frequently ordered western fare, most of their Chinese dishes are listed separatly and only presented in the Chinese language. Our estimation is that everyone in the restaurant ordered from the traditional Chinese menu instead the one you are handed. Therefore, you may want to bring a Chinese speaking friend if you are interested in what they“

“Food is very good, and I take out more than I dine in. Crispy Duck, basil fried rice, all the Curry's are very good. Pork and shrimp dumpling, pad se ew are all solid choices. They compete with one other Thai restaurant in Madison, but Nahm is where I usually end up. Bit pricey.. noodles and fried rice are best priced dishes. Menu is on their website.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door entry is sidewalk level.“

“One of the best places to get good sushi. They have a great selection and good drinks too. I always enjoy myself here. Just be careful walking from the parking lot to the restaurant in the dark. It’s not well lit and there isn’t a side walk. Cars pulling in or out won’t be able to see you.“

“We had dinner and food was delicious! We had spicy pork belly, fried chicken (amazing!) and Galbi (short ribs). My daughter who’s 8 loved the food and said it was her new favorite place. The owner was super nice and gave us a yogurt at the end ?“

In particular, all their appetizers, curries, and the grilled pork tenders are stand-outs.We take out from here every other month or so. Never ate in, but we definitely should. When I order online, my order is always waiting for me when I get there. Very fast service.“

“Cute, quaint, great decor, clean and delicious. Everything from the Ramen and sushi to the Hibachi is delicious!! AND the juicy pork dumplings are SO good! As for the bubble tea and green tea cake, big thumbs up! The wait staff is friendly but the owner (or possibly manager) is even friendlier and just the kindest! She truly makes you feel welcomed! Highly recommend!!Kid-friendliness: When she’s there, the owner always takes the time to say hello and bring our kid a little sweet snack. It’s very sweet!“

“I have been going to this restaurant for years. They know me so well that they know my order when I walk in. The food is beyond excellent here. Clean food and atmosphere, lots of vegetarian options. In fact, I was told the last time I was there that they can make my favorite dish, Garlic Chicken, with tofu. I’m excited to try it! Can’t wait to go back.Vegetarian options: They offer seafood as well as tofu. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here.“

“If you're yearning for authentic Kerala/Malabar cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We indulged in their buffet, which boasted a scrumptious spread of 57 items, showcasing the essence of Kerala cuisine. From chicken, duck, and goat to mussels, fish, and eggs, the non-vegetarian options were plentiful, while the vegetarian dishes were equally extravagant. Although priced at $25, the buffet's quality, variety, and flavors make it worth every penny. However, be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends, as this cozy space fills up quickly. Reservations aren't accepted, and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, they ask patrons to wrap up their meal within 40 minutes to accommodate waiting guests.“

“They have a nice fish tank, and a chill atmosphere. Good to have a date. Only reason I gave 4* was because I don't know what it is but the California roll just didn't check my taste buds. I'm from NYC and eat sushi regularly. IDK if it's because they use real crab and not the fake one (I'm used to that flavor) but I've tried them 2x and both times were the same and just found it difficult to enjoy. This doesn't mean they are bad or not worth a try. I think for NJ expectations they are good. Actually I tried all 3 local spots and they all pretty much the same. I'm probably spoiled by eating NYC Brooklyn sushi lol“

“This is THE place for drunken noodles - it’s our go to in NJ. Great lunch menu & prices. They have a brown rice option - no extra charge. Love the mango salad & Thai basil (chicken, shrimp & tofu options) my favorites! Great appetizers like satay chicken & spring rolls. Also like the pad Thai & pad see ew. Always fresh and very tasty. Desserts I’ve tried are the mango sticky rice & the carrot cake. Both are delicious. (Photos from various visits)“

“Everything I imagined!I started my first year in college in Madison and found this convenient sushi shop. This place outperforms all the other restaurants you could order from, as they have an in-depth knowledge of the town. The sushi and the diverse food are not just fantastic, but also come at great prices. They deliver in a timely manner, even during busy periods, and are always ready to assist with any questions about their food. They are also open to any suggestions you might have about your meal. Every dish you enjoy, you can feel the dedication they put into it.So, if you're ever in Madison, trying to find places to eat, or a college student like me, TRY IT! It's great for treating yourself after that reeeaally long week at work and school. :)“

“Everything we’ve ever ordered is really good, and we’ve been ordering for years, but just today in 2024, we ordered their fried chicken nuggets for the first time, and we’re gonna get 3 orders of them every time we order from now on, they are better than any fast food nuggets we’ve ever had!!!“

“I had a great meal here for new year's eve! I had chicken pad Thai and a salmon avocado roll, which really hit the spot. This is a good sushi spot. My boyfriend got the sushi dinner. The staff here is always good. I saw a girl drop her chopsticks and a server immediately walked up with a new pair. I don't know why, but we can always get a table fairly easily. I will of course be returning:)“

“I love Fan Bistro!!!!???? Best food in town. They might as well know me because of how often I order from them. The hibachi meals- disgusting (that’s slang for amazing) in other words, gods must’ve crafted this. The atmosphere is postmodern, with comfortable color and large brass buddha. I hate sushi but the tuna sushi is ?!! Soy sauce? More like girl boss!! Love this place, man. Just adore this food, on god; fax ong. One time I ordered chicken hibachi; got steak teriyaki. But hey, enjoyed it all the same.Vegetarian options: -Rice-Vegetable hibachi-all kinds of fried rice“

“Not a bad spot for sushi. Parking is located in the back which is at first confused but definitely convenient once we found it. Interior is clean and service is nice. Food is not bad. Stir fry udon noodles are delicious but come in a small portion. Sushi is pretty good and rice portion is even but the seaweed is a little chewy. Prices are on trend with other places and the presentation of the rolls is beautiful. Would want to go back to try some more rolls for sure. Also I saw there is a tiki bar upstairs that I would want to check out!Now for my standard comments as of December 2023. Interior is clean and seating is well distanced.“

“My husband and I wanted to try new places near Morristown since we usually stick to the same bars, so we headed to Madison instead. We stumbled upon this jazz club with a unique speakeasy vibe. Tom, the owner, warmly welcomed us and, noticing the busy dinner reservations, seated us downstairs. He was instantly engaging and clearly passionate about his work. We hit it off with Ryan too, the masterful bartender, whose drinks are consistently excellent. Discovering this hidden gem was a nice surprise, and we're eager to return. The ambiance, live music, and outstanding food, crafted by Tom with evident culinary expertise, make this place exceptional. It's a rare find where both service and cuisine excel.“

“Friendly staff, and one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area the last 15 years. I usually go takeout, but dine-in environment is something I’ll enjoy if I have time. My go to’s are Sesame Chicken and Egg Drop / Hot & Sour Soup.“
