“Staff is very kind and showed great hospitality during past experiences.I recommend the miso ramen personally due to its homemade tasting broth but after hearing others, they would prefer the Hawaiian poke bowl because of its fruity taste. I also recommend the peach fruit tea boba with tapioca pearls. The pearls are very chewy and soft and the drink complements it nicely. The aesthetic is very pleasant as well with its cool lights and calm theme. I would totally recommend this for anyone who enjoys this cuisine.“

“This is our local go-to for sushi and hibachi. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and efficient. We mostly order to go, but the restaurant itself is small but cozy with tables and a sushi bar. I'll also add that, in 7 years of ordering from them, they have not gotten a single item on any order wrong. Definitely worth trying.“

“If you are going to shop at Whole Foods, an Amazon Prime card is very useful. The card and Amazon app. while allow you to receive discounts and keep you informed of sales items. I shop at Whole Foodsfor specialty items and some fruits and vegetable. Mainly organic fruits that you do not peel like apples, strawberries, blueberries and pears to name a few. My other main reason for shopping here are the specialty especially in the cheese and bakery departments. They carry a lot of Keto/Paleo items which I am not interested in, as well as, an oat-milk/almond milk machine that makes them fresh. Next to the bakery they have a Naan bread display. The naan bread is made their on premise Tandoori oven. The store and parking area is never crowded when I shop. They usually have only one or two cashiers working during slow periods and a self check-out area. I never tried their deli, pizza station or acai bowel so I have no comment. If you do not have your own shoppin bags which I do, It will cost you 10 cents per bag.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

The portions were ample and all food was prepared and presented well. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not dripping in oil. The wonton soup was tasty and not salty. Overall we had no complaints. Been coming here for over 15 years and it’s still my local favorite Japanese style restaurant. Food is consistently good, both sushi and kitchen. Menu hasn’t changed much over the years but that’s fine, as they stay true to their strengths. A wholehearted nod to their traditional Japanese and Asian fusion flavors. My parents and I agree it’s the best and closest to authentic sushi and Japanese cuisine in the area, and we’ve been to 9 of them. Service is always attentive, warm, and accommodating. Space is polished and spacious. Great for families, with big or little ones. Takeout is always a breeze.

The food is consistently good and with the exception of sushi/sashimi purists, most Japanese food lovers should expect a positive dining experience. Sushi/sashimi fare is good. There are creative and tasty rolls if that is your fancy. The cooked dishes actually taste like my mom's old home cooking and my personal draw. “The Only place I eat Chinese food is Lotus. They cook with love and I've never seen a cleaner Shop. They are very kind and after 20 years, they are the same from the first time we met. I moved away from West Orange but I always come back to eat here. If not, I dont eat. Other chinese spots do not have the same quality tasty food or service. I consider them like family and the food is very good to me. Their Boneless Ribs are the best in NJ. The Dipping Sauce made in house for Dumplings should be sold in Stores. They did have homemade sweet Tea that flew off the shelves. He has to make that again. That too should be sold in stores. They do not disappoint. Top 2 Spots for Chinese Food in NJ.
