Lotus Oriental Cuisine Reviews
Bought chicken wings and FF
The fries were delicious..
The wings had no taste, not even a chicken taste..
Makes me wonder if they are selling those clone chicken pieces.
The Only place I eat Chinese food is Lotus. They cook with love and I've never seen a cleaner Shop. They are very kind and after 20 years, they are the same from the first time we met. I moved away from West Orange but I always come back to eat here. If not, I dont eat. Other chinese spots do not have the same quality tasty food or service. This is now strictly a take-out place. They've set it up so that you only get your food at the entrance and can't get a seat even if you wanted to. However, the portions are generous for a reasonable price and they give lots of little extras

Lotus Oriental Cuisine is a reliable Chinese takeout spot known for its quick and accurate service. The restaurant maintains a COVID-19 prevention approach, with staff communicating through microphones and plastic walls. Customers praise the cleanliness and friendly staff, often describing the staff as like family. The food is considered very good, with some items standing out as favorites. The Boneless Ribs are highly recommended as the best in NJ, and the homemade dipping sauce for dumplings is so good that customers wish it was sold in stores. The restaurant used to serve homemade sweet tea, which was very popular, and many say it should be available to buy. Although the menu has been pared down during the pandemic, Lotus Oriental Cuisine continues to offer generous portions at reasonable prices, with many little extras included. The restaurant is now strictly take-out, with food handed at the entrance and no seating available. Customers find that the portions are large, and the food is flavorful, with just the right spice level. The Szechuan beef combo dinner is a favorite, and customers can ask for it hotter or add hot chili oil if desired. Overall, it is considered one of the top spots for Chinese food in NJ, with many loyal customers who consider it like family.
