My husband and I have eaten T Hills of Herat many times as we are local Basking Ridge residents. My brother had been stationed in Afghanistan a few years ago and was visiting us for a couple of days. We took him and my sister-in-law to Hills of Herat and they both loved the food. My brother particularly enjoyed the mint beverage. This restaurant was a wonderfully special choice with which to entertain them.
Food and service was good, tables in main dining area are way too close. With a room full of empty tables the staff sat another couple inches from our table. The 4 of us were noticeably surprised and laughed because no effort was made to correct the situation
Hala the manager at the Basking Ridge Location is truly fantastic! We had our daughters Ameen lunch last Saturday and Hala was a true pleasure to work with. She made sure the experience was comfortable and a joy for our family! Thank you Hala! Hills of Herat is definitely our family favorite! Food is always excellent and so is the customer service!
