“Came here for the first time today and I’m kinda a picky eater I ordered chicken and biria boa buns, biria ramen, beef taco Al pastor, and the biria pizza. Everything was delicious and the spotlight orders being the pizza and ramen. Be sure to try the eggplant rollatini.Not overpriced at all, despite what these (probably bogus) reviews say.I do have to add that the last time I was in there, August 2021, despite a sign asking customers to wear masks, none of the three employees handling my food were. And I got a delivery which included my favorite, eggplant rollatini. -- The eggplant was literally rotten. I'm giving them a break, hoping they'll return to their usual fine standard.“
“It says on Google they are under construction so I assume they should be reopening. This place is a hole in the wall (literally) I walked right by it when looking for it. It's a very dope spot tho, they are playing music inside the workers are so chill. They have one menu up and there are not too many items on it which for me it's perfect , sometimes I like not having to choose from too much. I got their chicken sandwich, it comes on a biscuit with gravy and boyyyyy was it good. The gravy was so creamy and good and the crispy chicken was doing what it had to do! I've already came back two more times ! (I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't tried anything but the chicken sandwich)“

“So first back story, from NYC, running errands in Jersey, wife looked the place up, kids with us (15 and 11), first time there. I write these because I usually see people that had bad experiences leave reviews.Parking spot was available right across the street, $0.50 for the hour. When we walked in Helen greeted us with a smile and quickly produced a menu for each of us. Was originally just going in for the special but then I saw the Steven Burger. I usually hate trying new burgers as you can get anything from a greasy meatball to a hockey puck, this was not the case. So I ordered my Steve Burger and my family followed suit. Here's the thing, my 11 year old despises vegetables. Without missing a beat Helen smiles and squints "No lettuce or tomatoes?". My wife couldn't thank her enough for catching it. Ordered fries and onion rings, the fries became cheese fries after diving deeper into the menu and the onion rings were really onion rings, not that onion mash stuff formed into a ring. Helen told us to have a seat and the drinks were in the fridge whenever we were ready. I liked that because I'd rather my soda out the fridge rather than sitting on the table. Helen brings over a basket with enough napkins and forks, she must've sensed how messy of an eater I can be because there were enough napkins. We get our food and I can not stress enough, Juicy not Greasy. I know I've been going on so I'll wrap it up. Totally enjoyed the meal which ended with a second order of cheese fries because, well because they were some good cheese fries. I totally recommend, I'm going back to try their Philly Cheesesteak and grab a hotdog while I wait, such a cool idea. “Silver lake CheeseSteaks and Tacos makes authentic tacos at a very reasonable price. Their glorious selection of cheesesteak options is pleasing. They also sell fresh cut fruit and deliciously baked goods. I have been going to them since the owner himself was a cook at the Newark Cheesesteak house in Newark. He now owns both locations. I prefer Silver Lake because the original chef/ now owner still cooks. That is a sign of great leadership.“

For the price it was well money well spent and left me with a some to eat for later. The service was quick and efficient, no issues there. As for the atmosphere it is organized, and sufficient. However I did order to-go, because I wanted to eat at my car. I definitely recommend coming here for a classic American meal. It'll leave you wanting for more and I will definitely be coming back for more!“

I love everything about this place, only drawback the inside could have more room for additional tables but the food, Serb ice and atmosphere- oh and prices- are spot on! I had onion rings with my cheesesteak they were good too! No parking lot but there was plenty of on-street parking and the guts that work there are super helpful and pleasant! Don’t go to Prados - Run to Prados!! Highly recommended!“
“Alll time faveeeee place for pizza! Franks alone is iconic and since ive moved to NB over the last few years the food has gotten more delicious AND super pretty!! Prices are way better than most places around and You can really tell the pizza man and cooks put time and effort into each pizza/dish. Presentation gets me every time !!! The sauce is perfect- I never need to add a thing and im usually a salt and garlic lady lol and if you love a little crunch in your crust JUST ASKKK- the texture comes out PERFECT - I would normally take a slice of pizza anywhere else- but the pizza man JON makes it to where I need to eat 2-3 slices lol I also highly recommend the franchaise AND CANNOLI OR ST JOSEPH PASTRIES TO TOP IT OFF!!! “I'm one of the few lucky ones, they're right up the street about block away from my house. Been going there for years. Great customer service. Food is fantastic. My favorite is the Steak n Take. Today I had The Fish with fries. Fried to perfection just the way it's supposed to be. They don't season the fish to death. Very consistent in quality each and every time you order. People drive from all over. I like the old school vibe. It reminds me of the 70s and 80s when we used to go down and get all of these steak n takes and bean pies and fish sandwiches.
