“It's been a long time since there was a pizza shop this good. My wife loved the chicken Frances pizza. She keeps asking when are we going back to get a large pie from there. I had two slices of meatball slices very good! I wanted more to be honest because it was that good. If your in the Pine Beach, Beachwood or bayville area please go to this pizza shop you will not regret it!“
“My family and are from California. We’ve been a JBJ fan since the beginning. We were visiting our son who is stationed at McGuire AFB. We took a family trip to JBJ Soul Kitchen because we wanted to give donation to the community. The servers were all very welcoming. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed the experience. Would definitely come back the next time we are in town.“
“What a joy it was to go here. The staff went out of their way to serve me. They wrote "Thank You Mike" on my to go bag, smiled throughout, and even applied a generous discount as a member perk. I got a pork roll egg and cheese which was well above average as U can see!“
“My husband and I had one of the best meals out in a long time. From the moment you walk through the door you know you're in store for something special. The ambiance is outstanding and the service is amazing. The menu is top notch. The steaks are the best quality and cooked to perfection. Talk about a hidden gem!“
“Half our order was to be vegan and both vegan dishes had errors, but were both quickly addressed and fixed by staff, who were all amazing. The veggie vegan pie was SO GOOD and I love that it was stacked with veggies. I would definitely order again!“
“Yum!!! We’re expanding our pizza world and have found a great addition in Tom’s River - the Slice House. Housed in a nondescript side of the road mall, inside is a world of delicious food and very nice people! The Diablo Pepperoni was outstanding and the Marguerite was really fresh and tasty. Check out their daily specials and their menu is extensive and varied. A gentleman was having pasta at a nearby table and looked very pleased with his meal! We took zeppoles home for desert. The restaurant is accessible and very welcoming. Plenty of parking.“
“Googled a nearby place for a smoothie after a workout. I brought my family here and it was very delicious and a great conversation with Vince-the owner. He opened the smoothie place next to his wings spot to support his local community and charities. On the menu with items listed in red are items that one dollar is given to different charities like Autism awareness. I watched him make the smoothies from scratch and they were delicious. My kids enjoyed the Philadelphia water ice. Next time I will try the salads.“
“I've been getting my pizza from them for about 7 years and there's a reason for that. It's great food! Their chicken parm pizza is our favorite. Also love the grandma's pie. We always get the rice balls. They are fantastic. Service is great. Everyone is always super nice. I've never had an issue.“
“Ordered for the first time based off of reviews on slice app and I am so glad I did! Hands down best Italian food in Brick. Pizza was so delicious and crispy and the manicotti dinner was amazing. 2 pasta dinners and a large pie was about $50 and totally worth it! Def my new fave place! Also, we got free order or zeppoles! Win!“
“Cucina Fresca recently relocated from about a mile north on Route 9 near the famous dinosaur. Their new location, formerly a bank, has been repurposed to become combination restaurant & deli. I tried their French Dip and it was wonderful. I will be back to try other menu items. I encourage you to support this family owned business across the highway from another Bayville treasure, The Shady Rest.“
“I was there for a family sheva brachos. The food was amazing, wonderful, outstanding, and they were able to tweak things on the spot for my family members with allergies.I didn't have a problem with one of the servers dropping and breaking the plate with something. It can happen to anyone. I was not happy though that he didn't notice (didn't check to notice) that so of the spilled food got onto people's (children's) shoes. Ok, it happens as well, he didn't realize. What I didn't like was that while people were still sitting at tables and talking, they started cleaning up. Not empty plaltes but water glasses, napkins.... The person sitting next to me (the one who was paying the bill, I e. organized the event, chose the place and gave them business) was approached three times during the speech whether she was done with her main course. She said no three times, but on the fourth she said ok, fine take it away. One more: the servers barely smiled. It was not too inviting.Bottom line: I WOULD go there for dinner with my family again possibly, but I would NOT make my simcha there or recommend this place. As of now. Maybe, hopefully, I will change my mind later.Dietary restrictions: Considering that they are a dairy restaurant, they were able (agreed) to skip dairy on the salad and the main course to accommodate us and gluten free for some other people.I wish they had some pareve desserts as well, but that's not a must at a DAIRY place“
“The very first time I came here, I got the chipotle chicken wrap, and I literally had to call them back and tell them how that was the best wrap I’ve ever eaten. Everything is a 10/10. Super nice staff who make you feel comfortable and the service is so fast, even when they look busy. Inside is nice and clean and the prices are very normal. I’ve tried most of the sandwiches and they are made to perfection every time. Literally my new favorite place.“
“This post relates to the “New Owners” of Verace’s! The food is outstanding. But by far, my absolute favorite is their pizza that has a sweet and salty taste to it! The pizza crust is on the thin side and so crispy, yet not hard, but definitely crispy! The square pizza is topped with chicken that is marinated in a sweetish coating that has a minor tang to it, coated in sesame seeds. Don’t worry, it’s not “spicy hot” at all. It is also topped with red onion, green and red peppers, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cheese! The absolute best!!!! You have to give it a try, you won’t be sorry! And the new owners are a beautiful, hard working family who is doing their best to balance their home and work life; with their older children working at the Pizzeria as well from time to time. Please try and support this business as they are a welcome new addition to the Silverton area!“
“The go-to pizza place for me and the family. Great variety of pizza and their dinners are also very good. The portions of the dinners are very large for the prices. There is minimal in seating in the pizza place so I recommend to go ordering.“
“First time here pleasantly surprised by the choice of natural, vegan, and vegetarian foods, as well as options for meat eaters, especially in this area. Some Items were low fat, fat free and tasted delicious. Most restaurants (even grocery stores) in this area do not cater to healthy conscious people. You could also get sweet potato fries, chip and homemade guacamole. they even had a delicious kids menu.“
“Very nice inside. It is a bit hard to see for first-timers. There is no signage from the road. The staff was very pleasant. The service I experienced was slow. There was plenty of tv and music playing to feel entertained. Over all very nice place.“
“I feel like I'm family going into this restaurant every time. It makes me wanna be part of the Italian Mafia, I am family every time I walk into that restaurant . The food "forget about it" It's ? 'Magnifit'! They have a wide variety of wine options ? ?? ?? 'Familia es eportante' ??♂️Kid-friendliness: It's a family friendly restaurant. We Love It ❤️“
“A staple of mussels and pizza for many times, we stopped first time for burgers and were pleasantly surprised. Love the new look and hope the new owners do well. Service is pleasant and efficient. The chairs are heavy and need casters because they make a grating sound when you pull them our or push them in, but that's not a criticism, just a design flaw.“
“I brought my 12yo here. Each of us being on the Autism Spectrum, we were SO excited that there's minimal human interaction lol They have 2 wide tablets where you can see pictures and places your order. There are menu screens over head as well. A young man came out to greet us and to let us know that if we have any questions or concerns that he's just right on the other side of the wall. Freakin Perfect.I obsessed over the wicked resin flooring. So cool!! Ok the food. We each got a trio of different tacos as well as the jalapeno poppers. I am SOOOOOO selective when it comes to tacos. I love both authentic Mexican style as well as crunchy American style. I found Tacoholics to be a fusion. Me and my kid enjoyed our food. We also enjoyed not having to do awkward small talk with a server. We will most definitely be back!!“
“It was good. However, they could add more vegetables. I hardly got any broccoli, saw one mushroom? As for the cheese cake dessert, maybe you can spare more fruit and crumble for 9$? It had a strawberry cut in half and maybe 4 berries! Half filled. Kinda expensive for what u get.“
“Quite a nostalgic place.. went there for a late lunch. Service was ok. Food took forever to come out. My wife's food was cold and was sent back. Came back Luke warm at best..For the bar scene, probably a cool place.. for dinner.. I am not sure.“
“Parking was easy and free so that saved us a lot of money compared to Seaside or Point Pleasant. The food came fast as you would expect from a take out place. We had planned grab and go, but then we saw the picnic tables so we sat and enjoyed our meal. We tipped the college kids behind the counter who cleaned up after us. The food was great! One of my boys used the potato slicer for his French Fries and we all got a photo with the legendary founder, Crabby Rick, who served our country. Maybe one day he'll be as famous as Colonel Sanders of KFC so I'll keep that picture.“
“It's really a great place. Went there for lunch, and the place was a little busy but moving fast. I was sad that my go to Salad is no longer on the menu, Niçoise Salad, but without skipping a beat, they made it for me!Sorry about the picture. I started to eat it, and then I remembered to shoot a picture.Great Place great employees!“
“Great food, like being in NY Pizzeria.Parking: It's in a strip mall, so each business has spots in front of them, and there spot across the street, but across the street is still in the plaza, so 10ft. Across from the front spots.Wheelchair accessibility: The plaza is all ground floor.“
“The place that put Brick Township on the map! I am 56 years old, and have had Poor Boys subs since age 10. Yes, they closed for a little bit, but when they reopened , in Toms River, I couldn't have been happier. I was more ecstatic, when they moved back to Brick! You haven't had a proper sub, until you had a Belly Buster! Still the same, quality and taste, decades later.“
“I've gotten food from here a few times and the store is always clean and bright. The food always tastes fresh and tasty. The one time I ordered a burrito bowl and the rice and meat were a little on the cold side, but still tasted good! Good prices too, especially for fresher meals!“
“So it's been 5 years since I have been in a Chick fil a, and the last one was in Florida, walking into this location was no different, management and staff here keep this place moving. No line, food is just like I remember it, with 1 exception , the portions really shrunk, but either the food taste just like I remember ? delicious.. above all I wasReally impressed how clean the restroom was, like a hospital , squeaky clean . Will be back.Parking: Plenty of parking and plenty of takeout spots as wellKid-friendliness: Has a very rare play area.“
“First time, went with my wife sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon.Lunch Specials fantastic. Beer offerings nice. Prices of everything well within GREAT.Service at the bar by a French girl named Barday... also known as Nicole. Extraordinary personality and efficiency. Everything and more one would want in a bartender.Highly recommend.“
