“Despite their name I didn't see any baguettes or sandwiches with that quintessential baguette French bread. A real Francophile would know that the "boule" or round crusty French bread is the original but it was not available. I was ordering a sandwich dinner and only wanted a ham and cheese on crusty French baguette or any type of French bread. Mind you that I worked in international product development and am not a novice and have been to Paris many times and Nice as well.I asked if a simple ham and cheese sandwich could be made on crusty bread but it was not possible. Just when I was ready to give up I found a ham and cheese on croissant that was delicious but "cher" or costly thanks to inflation. Deserts were terrific with an amazing array of choices just not a Mille Feuille (Napoleon in North America). My choice is loaded with delicious vanilla pastry cream on crispy layers of thin pastry crust. It would be on my deathbed menu. Instead I ordered a small crispy sweet crust filled with pastry cream garnished with fresh berries. Also a mocha coated donut...both delicious with hot coffee.Prices were very high but you get what you pay for.Staff were very nice and packed my orders In lovely boxes.You could eat in and the coffee smelled great but I chose to take my order home to add a salad.Paris Baguette is a very welcome addition to Belle Mead and parking is a breeze. Try it, you will love it.“
