“We just tried Hooked Cafe in Belmar NJ for breakfast and we are so glad we did. The breakfast sandwiches we ate were delicious, and hit the spot. This is not for fancy food, just very comfortable and satisfying and very fair prices. The service was perfect. The two ladies doing the cooking and serving were terrific and friendly and knew what they were doing. Coffee was perfect as well. This is a great place for a friendly atmosphere and terrific food. They were open for breakfast and lunch until 1 PM. We will make it a regular stop.“

“Very cool and hip breakfast and brunch spot that really experiments with traditional favorites. The chicken and waffles provide a level of comfort that only real comfort food can provide. The brisket sandwich is flavourful, but you can end up with too much gristle. The coffee options are excellent and tasty. A hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, depending on the drink, really makes the beverage something special. Service is generally good, but some servers are more genial than others. Outdoor seating is a great option when temps climb above 60 degrees.“

“Perfect relaxing breakfast with the family. Seated right away on a Wednesday morning. Friendly wait staff and great service. Ordered The big easy benedict and huevos rancheros, a French press, German chocolate latte and 3 different hot chocolates (for the kiddos). Everything was delicious and fresh. The price is very good if not better than most common diners in this area. The food and coffee is 1000% better too. This is our favorite breakfast place when we visit NJ. Definitely recommend.“

“Loved my visit to the Bradley Beach location - truly the cutest spot for lunch (if you love anything and everything pink, this place is for you)! I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon, so the space wasn't too crowded. A few people had their laptops open and when I asked, the waitress shared the wifi password with me. Seemed to be work-lunch friendly, but that may not be the case during their busier hours - be sure to double-check! Their menu was extensive and every dish was so creative! I ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese Please, which was absolutely amazing. The sandwich was so flavorful and juicy and cheesy - what more can you ask for? Plus, the fries that came on the side were thin, perfectly salted, and not too greasy. The portions were big, so I was able to take some home for later too. Definitely will be coming back ASAP to eat my way through the menu!“

It's smaller than many diners but has an open concept that can be easier to maneuver for people with disabilities once you come inside. “Stopped in after my delivery in Lakewood. This is the only place I found that has vegan pancakes, I haven't eaten pancakes in years since I went vegan, my pancakes were phenomenal as well as the avacado toast and salmon i ordered, even the apple juice i ordered tasted fresh and crisp, the service was great restaurant was extremely clean and inviting I also grabbed me a tumbler for my truck I was in need of one so that was also a plus. “I've been coming to this spot for years. The food is consistently good and the waitstaff has always been friendly. Coffee is great too and I am a bit of a coffee snob. I love their vanilla latte. Cozy on the inside and nice location on Cookman. Red Bank location is wonderful also- different vibe inside but food just as good.“
