“Deli 21 is a great establishment. The owners are so kind and friendly, the food is delicious (especially their fries! some of the best fries I've had!). You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. My favorites are The Continental Sandwich, their egg salad on rye, and their chicken quesadilla. Very fairly priced and it's a great place to grab a bite to eat quickly especially if you work close by!“

“We remember as children our father bringing us sloppy joes home for the holidays from another deli on Cedar Lane. We were so happy to find the same quality sandwiches at Foster Village Deli. We have ordered now for several years their platters on Christmas, Thanksgiving and Birthdays. “I have been coming to Munno’s for over 22 years. I have never had better penne vodka and I travel extensively gobbling up food in different states and in Europe. The staff is always friendly and willing to take an order for a tray of penne vodka to be ready for us the same day. My family is now obsessed with Munno’s as well!“

“listen to me. I do not write reviews. I can’t believe I’m writing one now. But this tiny deli in the UES has the best, AND I MEAN THE BEST, pastrami I’ve ever enjoyed in NYC. It’s insane. Made in-house, unbelievably tender, and seasoned perfectly, this pastrami has ruined all other pastrami places for me (and there are a lot in NYC). Every time I order pastrami anywhere else, I’m comparing it to Fillmore, and it never even comes close. My mouth is watering as I type this.

“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“I sincerely have to say that this place has a truly unique and exquisite flavor. But it’s not just about the food the staff makes you feel like family. They welcome you, remember you, greet you warmly, and always make you feel at home.
I honestly give this place a 1000 out of 100! Excellent food, great prices, and amazing service.

“This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I vaguely remember them being in a different location though.....on the corner adjacent to them.....where CVS is now (they expanded that space. The place is small with no tables. There's just a couple of stools by the window. We always order delivery though. Family run by husband, wife and son. They are all very nice and delivery is always within 30 minutes. I've tried a bunch of things from there. Egg sandwiches, cold cut sandwiches, BLTs, burgers, pasta salad, fries etc. I haven't disliked anything. Their fries are a must get! Not sure why they're so good, but they are. As for the pricing, everything is under $10 which is great! Definitely check them out!“

“Materas’s really came through when i needed catering in a hurry due to an unexpected family emergency. I dropped in with zero notice and they were able to help me with feeding dozens of people within 30 minutes. The food was awesome as always. Kudos to Matera’s. Truly wonderful people.“

“I had to order last minute for my daughter's St. Marys high school teachers appreciation week. The owner was amazing. Not only did he take my huge order last minute...he delivered it in time for lunch for the teachers and staff!!! They loved it. Fresh and delicious....the turkey and provolone ...and Spicy Italian were a crowd pleaser!!! Will definitely order again...and highly recommend ? ? ?“

“I have known this man since I was little girl he has watched me grown up in all different phases of my life. (Im 47 now so that should say something) The food here is on point. My favorite is Salami & Cheese mustard hot. He always knows this when I walk in. The food is not expensive. I love the smoothies too burgers and fries,

“Absolutely LOVE Parisi and have been going there forever. Try this .... Turkey, Provolone, well done bacon, lettuce & mayo on a wrap. Plus, they give you so much turkey you'll have lunch for 2 days. “Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.
Definitely stick to the pastrami.
Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“My brother and I made our inaugural trip to Piast Meats & Provisions this past Monday. I can’t say enough about the great food there and hospitality shown to us. “So on the outside, this place is not so easy on the eyes. It looks like a halfway shut down makeshift deli. When you enter, there is a narrow pathway to the register but a very big sandwich making area with alot of choices and premium meats. I was super hesitant but with limited time decided to give it a chance, I ordered the godfather on a hero. It was the best sandwich I ever had! They even presented it in premium boars head paper with the boars head sticker! The prices were excellent! Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!“
