The sushi was super fresh and they had lots of menu items that were very unique like the dinosaur egg(fried lobster with layers of avocado on top). The dumplings were outstanding. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

“This was my first time ordering from this restaurant because it's hard to find good Chinese food. I ordered an orange chicken combo very spicy. The flavor of the food is excellent, the pork fried rice was on point and freshly made, the orange chicken was a bit mushy more on the softer side. If they can fry the chicken a little bit crunchy it would be perfect. The eggroll I'm not a fan of but it was okay. I enjoyed the food, and that will be my new goto restaurant from now on.“

That said, I do prefer the Bound Brook location 1,000 times more than this one. The flavor and consistency at the Bound Brook spot is much better in my experience.

“This place is really convenient in the middle of town between Summit and Chatham. They speak very good English and they’re not cheap with the meat that they put in the food. The food taste very delicious and the broccoli was really fresh and when you get beef and broccoli the beef is not chewy it is soft and has good flavor. Their egg drop soup is also very good. I was really disappointed by the other more expensive Chinese food places and the end of this place being the diamond of the town.“
