“Someone recommended I come here and try some of the pre-made specialties. It is a small place, but there is no lack in options. Everything really just looked so good, I picked out a few things for me and my son. I picked up some Chicken francese and chicken Marsala, some marinated artichokes and some seafood salad. All of it, DELICIOUS! I have been a chef for many years so I can be picky and I can tell when places cheap out on ingredients. I did not get that vibe from here. I'm pretty sure I could taste the love. Highly Highly recommended“

“We stopped by for a quick bite a couple Saturdays ago. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible. Indian food can be heavy but not this place. The owner and employee were so nice. Even though they were closing he let us sit and eat in the dining area. We had the garbanzo bean rice bowl, chicken tikka wrap and a breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend!!!“

“The owners are super friendly, warm, welcoming! The chicken cutlet is the best in the area! Always fresh soups, portions are huge and also there are freshly baked cookies or biscottis every day! Every time I am there she gives me a sample. This place is a hidden gem.“

“They have catered some of our company breakfasts. Everyone loves the food! In particular, the Mexican scrambled eggs (scrambled eggs with onions, peppers and ham), mushroom and cheese quesadillas, and tamales have been big hits. The food is really fresh and delicious. The service is excellent and the owner is so friendly. Generally, we are taking out or catering. The restaurant eating area is simple and fine for a quick work lunch. I highly recommend for breakfast and lunch and for catering.“

“My family frequently orders breakfast delivery from Oscars. Their food is delicious with generous portions and delivery is always quick. Our favorites are the French toast, omelettes and Taylor ham cheese and egg sandwich. Their French toast is especially yummy. Better than any other breakfast place I’ve tried. I’ve also ordered lunch, and our favorites are the chicken fingers and turkey burger. The chicken fingers are large and juicy. Their wings are also good.“

“My husband and I took our three grandchildren, 2,6,and 8 years old to Zappias Fri eve. With their open air front, we were able to hear the band playing in Lyric Park. So fun! We called ahead, and Claudia took our order. It was ready when the kids arrived, no stress with the wait. Pizza, chicken fingers and paninis with sauteed broccoli. Yum! The Zappia staff was very accommodating; it all worked so well. Thank you!“

However, once an appetizer was not to our liking, I called them and provided honest feedback without expecting anything in return, with in 10 mins they delivered the appetizer the way it was supposed to be. “It's always the places that don't look like much from the outside but looks can be deceiving. With all that being said I highly recommend this place. The sandwiches are always on point and the coffee is always fresh. It's like a hidden gem.“

“I had a spinich/mozzarella omelette w/ side of sausage, home fries and toast. It was fantastic; fluffy eggs, not over done at all. 2 large, tasty sausage patties. This meal is like $7 or $8 more at other diners. Exceeded expectations on price, taste, portion and quality. I will absolutely return to try something off the lunch menu soon.“
