“I’ve been going to this place for about 2 years now (I box at a gym nearby hence why I go so often). I come here about two to four times a week. The food is pretty cheap especially for its quality. I usually get the Yuca empanadas, beef empanadas, or chicken empanadas. Dessert wise I usually get the Tiramisu or brownies. I can say without a doubt it is one of the best places I’ve ever ate at. The workers are very friendly. Most of the workers know both Spanish and English too which is very helpful. There are plenty of places to sit and eat and it has a very welcoming atmosphere. They’re always playing music (at the perfect volume never to loud never to quiet). The food always comes out quick too.
Dietary restrictions: I know both the beef empanadas and chicken empanadas (and I’m pretty sure the Yucas) are all gluten free which has come in handy when I catered for a party once.“
“OMG, Dominic is the Best so kind & helpful! His Gluten free line is amazing and different. From the Chic Pea Pasta that our daugther loves to the Rice Pasta to the Gluten free breadcrumbs yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cookies & desserts are to die for! The bread is so tasty nothing like in the store. Our daugther was diagnosed with Celiac disease in Jan. We where besides ourselves trying ot find a fresh line of Pasta and bread products that she would not only love but accept. Bravo to Sogni Dolci for making the best Gluten free Products! Five stars from the FINN Family! BRAVO!!!!!!!“

“From the moment you valet your car to the moment you leave everything is first class. We shared a salad, I had the pork chop with cherry peppers. It melted in my mouth. My wife had short ribs and they were great as well. Cappuccino and dessert was amazing as well. Love this place.“

“We got our wedding cake from Calandra's Bakery. They have so many flavors to choose from, and their cakes are magnificent works of art! We got a four tier cake to feed 250 people. We had such a good time at our tasting, sampling all the different flavor combinations, and enjoying some complimentary coffee. The flavors we chose were vanilla cake with chocolate pudding, chocolate and vanilla cake with Italian custard and strawberries, and chocolate cake with dulce de leche. Their dulce de leche is the best I have ever tasted! Designing the cake was super easy and so fun! If you want a cake that not only looks spectacular, but tastes just as good, Calandra's is it!“

“Their Gluten Free Chocolate chip cake is so good. The frosting is just the most delicious thing. They recently had a pop up Gluten Free Lemon Raspberry flavor that was maybe the best gluten free cake I've ever had. I really hope they bring it back!“

“If you have not tried Nothing Bundt Cakes yet you have to. Have heard about them for months and finally tried today...OMG...worth it!!! Find the location nearest you and give taste...you will love!!! They even give instructions on the website for when to eat after purchase and how to store extra if not finished that day.“

“Had the opportunity to go in last week and holy carp, I cannot wait to go back. If you get any cookie dough, I suggest eating it raw at room temperature. The cinnamon toast crunch glam cookie was incredible. The owner was also in while I was there and she was lovely. All around gold star for this place.“

“Just recently raised my review from 3 to 4 stars. The cookies and mini pastries are spectacular. Will have to work my way through the cakes next. Might up it to five stars. The macarons were a bit less crisp than my wife would have liked, but I blame that on the humidity and transport (I took too long enjoying the sunshine, nothing against the bakery), otherwise they were wonderful.“

We even bring these bagels to friends and family around the world! Every bagel is the best and the service is top notch. Go out of your way to get bagels here and taste the best!

“Decided to stop in on a Sunday morning after a quick google search for a local bagel spot while I was in the area. I called ahead for a breakfast sandwich (I assumed they’d be busy which they were) and then ordered a specialty coffee while I was there. They have a ton of options for breakfast food, coffees, lattes, chai, matcha & even smoothies! They have some tables outside where you can sit and eat if it’s a beautiful day like this particular day was. My pork roll, bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel along with my iced pumpkin latte was delicious! I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.“

“Hi, my name is jack. I stop EVERY WORK DAY MORNING at this wonderful eatery. First, the lady behind the counter is not only a VERY NICE person but a very organized. Every morning I come in and my everything bagel with Taylor ham cheese and tomatoes is already done in the bag waiting for me. I'm in and out in less than 3 minutes every time I go. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THAT WANTS A GOOD SANDWICH OR JUST A CUP OF COFFEE BECAUSE THESE DAYS NICE AND PROFESSIONAL ARE HARD TO FIND. “The quality of the goods is second to none. We catered our entire Thanksgiving dinner from the Shrewsbury location and it was top tier in all respects. It’s not just the Italian specialty items that are excellent, it’s the whole range of prepared foods. The meat and fish departments are like the neighborhood markets of my youth. The employees are courteous and available and knowledgeable. The people who work there care about the customers and seem to like their jobs. If you’re a food person (whether you like to cook or just eat - for me it’s both) don’t miss this place. I love it even for regular grocery shopping. One note: you get what you pay for and here you get a lot so expect higher (but not insanely so) prices. It is well worth it.“
“I just took a cooking class on how to make mozzarella cheese, and it was a nice experience. There was snacks to munch on and bring your own wine, as well. Everything they put out for us to eat were products they make fresh at the shop. I definitely recommend signing yourself up, whether you have nothing to do on a weekend or want to plan something nice out with friends. Take a class!“
