“Cozy bar with reasonable prices! We stayed in a newly opened Cobmin Ridge Motel. The best motel rooms I have ever seen and I travel a lot! Very modern. I wish the bar from inside and out is more updated. Its a great busy road and this business can make so much more money with some simple updates.“

“On 2 May 2024 I decided to stop by at the Mountain House. I walked in and it is an amazing interior. It’s a bit of rustic, a little bit of industrial and very aesthetically pleasing. as I was meeting a friend there I obviously got there way too early so I sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice beer with some amazing fried pickles. Anybody that knows me knows my weakness is fried pickles and I have to say these are some of the best I’ve had in my almost 60 years. They were crispy and crunchy was spicy and I wish I would’ve gotten a couple more orders. When my friend arrived, we went out and sat by the lake. We both ordered the New York strip steak, which was cooked exactly the way we wanted it and came with a sauce and some onions and mushrooms on top. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of the mistake because as soon as it was put in front of me, I just dug in and started eating. It wasn’t until I was almost done that I said dang it. I should’ve taken a picture. The steak came with vegetables and potatoes. I’m going back to the mountain house to try the fish tacos and the tzatziki bowl. Those caught my eye, but I didn’t have enough room in my belly. And you can see from the picture I attached. It is a great view, and it was very peaceful and relaxing.“

“Came here with a coworker and will definitely be coming back. Service was excellent! Both the ladies that helped us were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good as well! I had the french onion soup and the hawaiian pizza. The french onion soup was ok. Not the best I've had but not the worst. The hawaiian pizza was great though! The crust was excellent and the toppings were in good portion. As for the atmosphere, I arrived when the restaurant wasn't so busy so we had our choice of seats. We chose to sit in the area with lots of windows and sunlight and the view of the lake was beautiful (despite parked cars being in the way). I would definitely be coming back with other family and friends to try some other dishes.“

“Waitress/bartender was all alone except for one other worker serving tables occasionally. They did an awesome job serving tables with how busy it was tonight 8/6. I was not in a rush to go anywhere so I was patient with the service, as she had a packed house to deal with. Ordered the Flatbrook Wings and the Little Flatbrook Burger. The little burger is perfect if you don’t want to eat too much. They have a bigger version too which is 1/2 pound. It was cooked to a perfect Medium Rare and everything else was perfect. My second visit here. Worth it. Thank you, Flatbrook Tap House!“

“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

The Airport Pub was the best part about living in Sussex NJ. The atmosphere, the service, the fantastic bands and artists they bring! It’s the whole package! “We went in June and were very disappointed, I reached out to the owner to let them know my complaints. They asked us to try them again. Last week we went back and I’m happy to say I had such a great time & meal! The owner revamped everything and it shows! We look forward to going back. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and 2 different burgers. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the mozz sticks were so good!“
