“Let me start off by saying this hidden gem is the best Dominican food I have had since I moved to New Jersey almost 10 years ago, and I have tried a lot. Originally I found this on Google after reading some of the reviews, I decided to give it a try and let me say they did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in the aroma of good home-cooked food slaps you in the face and your mouth will begin to water as mines did. The food was very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Pernil, yellow rice, red beans ,red onions and avocado. I also ordered the chicken empanadas. The staff was extremely accommodating friendly and went above and beyond. Let's just say I will definitely be coming back 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!!!“

“This little gem is located across from A&A deli in Lincoln Park NJ. The staff amazing. The food amazing (we had a chipotle chicken, a Philly cheesesteak, and a pulled pork empanada; in addition yellow rice and black bean and a cherry empanada for desert). Would recommend this restaurant 100%. Open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday it’s truly a treat for the tastebuds.“

“Our table of 4 loved everything from start to finish. My chorizos were the best I’ve ever eaten (including Spain). Dinner companion Eileen orders the shrimp in green sauce every time and is in heaven. Husband Phil’s vegetarian paella and portobello mushroom appetizer were delicious as were the table’s side dishes of green beans and carrots (perfectly cooked) and potato chips (yum). Massive entrees of which we all took portions home to enjoy as leftovers. Expert service by real waiters who knew everything and met our every dining need.“

“Excited to eat at Mi Familia Restaurant. The food is Authentic and flavorful! I've been coming here for so many years. As you walk in your are greeted immediately, the staff are very attentive. I was there last week ordered white rice with beans oxtail and barbeque pork spare ribs. Food was delicious!!! Not to mention this is where I get my churrasco (skirt steak) with tostones and freshly squeeze orange juice. Stop by Mi Familia Restaurant and enjoy some Dominican Soul Food!!“

“We had the pleasure of dining for the first time at Due 360 in Summit. From the moment we walked in, Luis the manager and Brianna welcomed us and seated us promptly. Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.“

There's a board that shows the menu if you're new and she'll be sure to point you to the second board nearby (Grilled/fried food). There IS an ATM inside the store as they only accept cash. The food is extremely good too, thumbs up for them!“

“I order 5 Star quite often, the food is good. The restaurant is cute but, and clean. What I do want to say is that if you order bbq and request bbq sauce you may not get it. Plenty times it has happened, i comfirm its in the bag, then you check the to go bag and they hand it to you. Not nice.

“The chicharones at this location is absolutely the best around the area. My first time there they made sure I was well taken care of. They even went above and beyond by cooking new pieces of pork for me so that they can be fresh. The pieces of pork was just right with the right amount of meat and fat. Usually places I’ve tried had so much fat that I don’t get to enjoy the chicharones but not this location.“

Given the fact the waiter insisted it would feed 3 I'm glad he ordered his solo cause it was barely enough for him. I ordered a chicken breast and chorizo lunch special. It was good. “Food is good, I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I do however recommend that you ask for the price of drinks prior to ordering especially if it’s not during happy hour. Drinks are way too expensive. The pricese are not listed on the menu One glass of Sangria $19.50. I was caught of guard with that one , imagine my surprise when I received my bill seeing that sangria was $39 for two glasses. Had I known that I would have just drank water and bought my own sangria for less at the local liquor store or went to a different bar. Also; there are a few things on the menu with no prices listed. Just ask for the price before ordering . I feel that the prices for the food such as lamb chops and seafoods are fair, but the drinks. Nope; Sorry not sorry. $19.50 for one glass of sangria is out right ridiculous and unnecessary. Other than the overpriced drink; everything else is good.“

Other then that food is amazing. Me and my girl went there and now I went today again for lunch at work 5 of us all ordered stuff and everyone at work said it was the best. The chicken falls right off the bone and the rice is cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place“

I’m not a huge fan of French fries, but these are so good and taste homemade! The salad was delicious and the garlic pork chops were excellent. My friend had grilled salmon and enjoyed it. The prices are affordable and they even have a $4 glass of house wine that they fill to the rim; you can’t beat it! My only complaint is that it is extremely warm in there. Other than that, I highly recommend.“

“We had the pleasure of dining at this Portuguese restaurant for the first time, and it was such a delightful experience! The food was incredibly flavorful and felt so authentic—every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, with each dish easily enough for two people to share. I particularly loved the tender meats and perfectly seasoned gravy. The lovely lady who served us made the experience even better with her warm service. As it was our first time trying Portuguese cuisine, we were thoroughly impressed. I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! “I recently moved to the Ironbound and needed to find myself a pizza place. Luckily, this place is only a few blocks from my apartment. It's not very big and doesn't seem to be popular for eat-in dining, but it is always busy with people getting take out. The pizza itself has rather thin crust and the sauce is great. I love their margherita pizza. If you eat there, be prepared to pay for drinks even if you get water. They only have bottled. The only down side is that because it's a small place and busy the service can be slow. Order in advance and then you can pick it up or have it delivered when you're ready to eat. I added photos of the menu for anyone who needs it!“
