“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

This place always delivers for a fantastic breakfast or lunch. Plus, it's BYOB. It is one of my go-to places for breakfast in philly.“
“Stopped in for the fish fry and was not disappointed. We were greated by (sorry forgot her name) a very friendly young lady who welcomed us and explained the menu for the night. our food was ordered and delivered in very timely manner. The food was very fresh, hot and extremely tasty. The biscuits were the icing on the cake. Our hostess went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was extremely pleasant. “My experience was amazing and everything we had was amazing from the shrimp tacos to the cheesesteak beignets and OMGGGG those deviled eggs ?? the scallops also amazing cooked to perfection I was full before the main course but that main course baybeeeeeee chefs kiss ? I had the crab cake meal and the gumbo (judge ya mother?) I also tasted the oxtail on sweet potatoes I was unsure but it was also amazing would highly recommend they don't get 10/10 because to me they are above it ? and our server was a sweet heart very prompt and nice“

“My sisters and I were getting together for a sisters day and discovered this jewel! The owner and her staff were very friendly and most accomodating! The service was excellent! The ambiance was classy, inviting and comfortable. The food was SUPERB! We had a variety of wings, lemon pepper, sweet chili and bbq. All succulent! Fries and onion rings were flavorful as well. It was so good I took an order to go! You cannot go wrong with South Flavors!! I can't wait to go back!“
“I've dined at this restaurant twice. I ordered the roast duck both times and found that the quality was much better the second time! This restaurant is a good option for folks who want authentic flavors WITHOUT the excessive grease and salt. Usually I don't care for the ambiance when dining in Chinatown because I'm just there for good food, but it's refreshing to get good service and enjoy a comfortable, clean, and less noisy dining experience overall while eating a tasty meal.“
“Today was my first time visiting Flannel. My first reaction was how cute the place is. I follow them on insta and the food always looks incredible, but I had no idea how cute it was. It was also decorated for V-times day so it made our lunch date even more special. We had a nice little cozy table for two. I didn’t have any cocktails, but there was an extensive drink menu.I can’t say enough nice things about our server. My boyfriend actually recognized him from another restaurant and he seemed happy to have finally landed here after over 10 years at several other bars/restaurants. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and patient. There were so many great menu items, it took me longer to decide. Our portions were huge and the prices were very reasonable. The food is comfort food at its best. We both had variations of eggs Benny. Mine had fried mac/cheese and bacon. It was cooked to perfection. We happened to meet the the owner Marc, who was also friendly and welcoming. This is a great, cozy little South Philly find. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Jamil’s Cafe catered my daughter’s baby shower. Food was excellent. Arrived on time fresh and hot. He set up and gave me extra equipment. Everyone loved the food seasoned to perfection. The professionalism I received from beginning to the end was outstanding. Definitely booking again :)“
“Not quite a dive bar, but definitely has that dive bar ambiance. IMO, that's a good thing. You get all the feels of it being divey, without the underlying reasons for calling it such. Great energy and pretty good service. There was only one bartender working the full bar so it took him time to get to me, but I was enjoying a great beer...or two in the midst of it all and he was super friendly. I ordered the mac & cheese with pork and it was damn delicious...it was, however, missing that certain something I'm looking for in a mac dish, so not one of my favorites, but nonetheless, it was enough to bring me back to try something else. Plus, it's embedded in the neighborhood of Fishtown and not sitting out on the strip, so it seems to attract a lot of locals! Well done!“
“Barmaids are always welcoming to you as you're coming in. Good service, good food. Nice size shots for your money. For more fun there's also a pool table in the back. So leave your negativity outside and unwind inside with new and old friends/family bar. Wheelchair accessible too.“
“Me having a craving for crab legs my husband chose this restaurant. Not overly crowded for a Friday night we were seated immediately. Portions are well worth the money so don't trip over the prices, it took me 3 days to finish mine and we all left with food! Their garlic butter is the best I've had so far. It's very flavorful with chunks of fresh garlic cloves lightly seasoned in a butter sauce (I opted for no old bay)! All of the muscles had meat inside and weren't just empty shells like at other places. 2 of our orders were the same but with different sauces so when the food was brought to our table, the owner came over to double check the right person, got the right order. First time ever seeing plum wine on the drink menu which had a very pleasant taste. The food and service was outstanding, it turned out to be the best birthday dinner I never wanted.“
“This brisket is packed with so much flavor and melts in your mouth. The Mac n cheese is amazing. And these collard green are vegetarian made with zero pork and the best damn collard greens I've ever had. Also the corn bread is perfection! Rich's beef ribs had the most delicious BBQ sauce that was sweet, smoky and had a little spicy kick. He also had great coleslaw and vegetarian beans that were so good!“

“This joint is a Camden staple, and for good reason. The food is amazing and they actually have a really great vegan platter (salisbury steak with choice of sides). My carnivorous coworkers have had everything else on the menu and always leave full and happy. Great service and atmosphere as well.“
