The Blue Rose Inn and Restaurant

This review is based on a previous visit. I received a gift certificate for the Blue Rose Inn & Restaurant. I resently called to make reservation with no answer and the mailbox was full. I sent an email with no response. After researching online I found a posting that they were permanently cosed! Again I tried calling and finally was able to talk to someone from the Inn who informed me that the restaurant was closed but the Inn was still functioning. We had a wonderful dinner here last year. Portion sizes were perfect. Staff was very professional. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a special dessert for birthday guy. Sat on the deck and it was a lovely evening.

Excellent, clean, well-appointed inn that is also dog friendly. Both of the owners were very hospitable and ensured that we all enjoyed our stay. They don't do breakfast but offer a dining area inside for whatever you happen to bring back to the inn and you can also sit on the porch. Room was cleaned daily and was large enough that we didn't feel cramped.
