For a coffee shop in Tottenville I also feel like the prices are reasonable! Only downside is that the parking can sometimes be difficult if it's a school day.“

“We went here for coffee ☕️on a Sunday morning. The shop is nicely decorated, it has a rustic tone 🐮 to it. There's a high counter at the window, a long booth type seat against one wall with some tables, some cozy chairs scattered around, and a couple of free-standing tables. There was plenty of seating available when we arrived.
Like I said we ordered coffee. The food 🥐🍪🍰 displayed looked delicious but we didn't have anything, I was pleasantly surprised to see some gluten-free options 😋 It was also very nice that after we ordered and sat down when our coffee was ready they brought it to our table.
The coffee was decent. I give it one mug out of two.
The one thing I should point out if you're not from the area, parking is not always easy. There is street parking and public parking lots but they do fill up fast and most days you have to pay for parking. Be prepared to walk, pleasantly surprised if you get close parking and allow yourself time to walk there.“

“Not being from the area (South Jersey), I've wanted to try LeGrand Coffee House for quite a while now. So on a trip up to NY a couple days ago, we finally got the chance to stop in on our way up the Parkway. This place is amazing! This beautifully-decorated coffee house had some of THE best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I got TWO lattes while I was there (a French Vanilla and a Honey Almond). My family and I also got the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had an iced chai tea latte and loved it. DEFINITELY get to this place if at all possible! Two thumbs up!!“

My only complaint here: the surroundings the environment is run down and looks dirty ...hardly appealing to new residents or potential customers coming thru the neighborhood would be easily turned off by the way the atmosphere is kept and the lack of nicely kept landscaping - esthetically investing in A major overhaul and some system of cleanliness of the drive thru area would be extremely helpful and ideal. If you go elsewhere you find this to be less an issue. “It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

The star of the show for me was the lemon blueberry poppyseed pancake. I would literally return to the restaurant just for those. Our waiter was amazing and checked up on us frequently. The presentation of the restaurant was amazing and they even have a little shop you can buy some local stuff. Definitely will be returning.“
