Soup near Carteret

“I am so extremely happy as I found my mei fun noodle I've been looking for. I used to (back on 2016) work near by this place and my coworkers had always ordered mei fun (thin rice noodle) from this place. As I moved job at 2018, I forgot where to get the same exact thing that I've tried from when I was working near by this chinese restaurant, I went to so many chinese restaurant around woodbridge/ edison to look for the exact thing but their mei fun noodle are so different compared to this (both the look and the taste). how I found this place again? I've never been here in person as in the past my coworkers ordered by phone and had them delivered to work. I tried to google chinese restaurant near carteret and found the singapore noodle pic on this website and give it a try to come try it in person. because from the look, it's just like what I want. the very very thin rice noodle (vermicelli). came to know that this place was the one where my friends ordered from! i'm so happy. will be back for my rice noodle again :))“

“These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+“

“Was in the mood for some seafood, I live in Bayonne so decided to try this place. My girl and I, decided to check it out and eat there. Seafood is best fresh, so that’s what we did. First thing we noticed, the gentleman helping us ( seemed like the owner) made sure the table to was not only clean, but sanitized. This isn’t your average restaurant, it’s a quaint spot only two tables available. More of a takeout vibe.He was very kind and accommodating. We ordered the fish and chips and some fried shrimp! The fish and chips were fresh and good. It was whiting, I would have preferred cod fish, but, it was still good!!! The shrimp were on the salty side but AMAZING. We enjoyed it so much we already made plans to go back again within the month!!“

“I've gotten thai food all around New Jersey and most of the country. This place is incredible! The food is absolutely authentic with some heat if you really want it. We had several dishes and a few with no spice. The mango sticky rice was not available due to mangos being out of season. We tried the cheese cake that was amazing too. This is one place I will gladly drive 45 minutes just to taste this quality of food again!“

“I have ordered from this place a couple of times and on both occasions the food didn't disappoint.Tasty sandwiches and fresh salads.So far I haven't found anything that I didn't like.The only issue is the service, sometimes it is fast and sometimes it is not (30 minutes waiting after the order deadline). “I ordered pork fried rice and chicken wings and BABYYYYYY I've never had chicken wings so good and crunchy from a Chinese restaurant. The rice was fresh. I really enjoyed. They also had great prices. I had and eight wing combo with the fried rice, and one order of eight wings which came up to 22 dollars! And they were big bulky pieces of chicken. Definitely worth the whole experience. Yes, I would order from here again“

“Afro taco was definitely a unique experience. I would never think Ghanaian & Mexican food would taste good combined but it was delicious! When I went, i wasn't able yo order ahead so we went & ordered but didn't have to wait too long. We tried a variety of things like the quesadilla & tacos. I have been dying to go back to try more!“

“The delicious black bean soup is loaded with flavorful veggies that have a delightful crunch to them, and just enough lime that you know it's in there. I turned mine from vegan to vegetarian with a little Cotija cheese. And that's lunch!“

“IM COMING BACK, the young lady at the counter was so sweet!! I got a chicken salad that I haven’t tried yet because I’m busy inhaling the crab corn soup, and a strawberry lemonade punch. Everything is VERY GOOD!!!!! I’m very critical of food because not everyone is clean and not every place can cook but this place has it all. The only thing I’d say is to add way more options for ingredients (pesto grilled chicken, kale, boiled eggs, etc)“

“Went to Roberto’s for the first time today. Ordered the Italian Wedding soup and potato soup the boneless chicken wings homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Joseph helped me he was so helpful and patient since I was a newby and couldn’t decide what to get, everything looked amazing. “My favorite Chinese restaurant in St. George. Nice food and friendly service. This is a fantastic place to go, particularly when they have their specials where you can get either an endless supply of that pasta that you ordered. “I'm in NJ for a business trip I wanted a place I could get an itemized receipt. They do have them available! Also some of the best crab Rangoons I've had in a long time! “They have a pretty decent buffet with quite a few American food choices, Asian (of course), fresh salad and a dessert table. I've never had a bad meal from here, nor have I ever gotten sick from food borne illnesses. The service is, sometimes, a bit nonchalant/laid back. I wish they wouldn't waste so much time looking at their phones and doing more "busy work" like wiping down the buffet tables. But it's not like the place is ever untidy.“

“I found this place to be the restaurant version of "Cheers." The owner new everyone and everyone knew the owner. My food was nuclear hot, fresh and spicy which explains why ice cream was included with my combination meal. Once you get past the temperature of the food I found the level of seasoning in my food to be lacking and thus disappointed me just a tad on the flavors that I expected. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my meal and dining experience.“
