They offer small and large options, which is nice. The staff is flexible and super accommodating when it comes to customization, and the owner is especially friendly. “We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

“A Hidden Gem in Wharton That Keeps Getting Better!

This evening we had a truly wonderful dinner at Reno’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Wharton, NJ. From start to finish, everything about our visit was top-notch. Our server, Shirley, was incredibly attentive—friendly, prompt, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out, though, was that Reno himself came by to check in and ensure we were enjoying our evening. It’s not every day you see that level of care and pride from an owner, and it absolutely elevated the experience.

We started with two fantastic appetizers—the eggplant rollatini and little neck clams in marinara sauce. Both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. For entrees, we chose the mahi mahi in mango sauce special and the shrimp scampi over linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Compliments to the chef—truly excellent work in the kitchen!

We ended our meal on a sweet note with the mini cannolis, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor.

Although Reno’s (formerly Maria’s) has been a staple in town for some time, their recent expansion into a charming sit-down dining area has added so much to the local dining scene. It’s cozy, welcoming, and a perfect spot for a relaxed and satisfying dinner. Reno’s is a real asset to Wharton, and we’ll definitely be back! (PS It's BYOB!)“

“I called to ask for reservation for 10 people after a concert, giving them only 1/2 hour notice. They set up a beautiful table for us. We ordered 3 pies that were very good along with a great large specialty salad. We finished with cannoli and fresh perfectly cooked zeppoli. They even let us use a coupon right in their menu. We were served quickly, but were not rushed in the least.

We ordered the garlic knots and there was 6 of us and only 6 garlic knots in the portion, our server who was the kindest ever gave us extra 🥺. Literally had the BEST service there I am not sure what the workers name is but whoever served us today I love you your the best!! He even took photos of us and the music there was so good. I really liked this one song that played and I said it out loud, im not sure if someone heard me but it played again and i was so happy!! “My favorite place in town to order pizza from, and get delivery at least once a week. The young staff who takes the orders and usually does the deliveries are very polite and respectful. Prices have been quite reasonable. Food arrives when expected, and without any errors to the order. Most importantly, ordering from Ridge makes for a predictably delicious meal, every time.“

“Nice local pizza shop! We went here for the first time and enjoyed the food. The food was hot and fresh and delicious, and it met expectations.

The only recommendation is that it would be nice if they had the soda machine rather than the bottles of soda / water. But other than that, everything was great. And prices were very reasonable.

ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... “This has always been our go to when visiting family in the Montville area. Today was no different! The staff were great, the food is amazing at a very reasonable price. While the ability to order online is via the slice app, take note that the prices are slightly higher. I'd rather give the up charge directly to the restaurant, but it does make ordering easier. Pickup has always been our choice, delivery is also available. My family looks forward to their food everytime!“
