This is a hopping place, especially Friday & Saturday nights. I recommend ordering ahead before you're hungry for when you are hungry, or waiting until after the dinner-time rush.“

“We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

Rumors have it in the pizza world, is you ever wanna try a places best pizza always order a personal pie, that will tell you how they really are. So I ordered a personal Mushroom, Plain and a specialty one. Let me tell you this, IF you like a good crunch pizza..... On every bite.... Good flavor that stands tall..... This is the place to go.... ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... That's how good this wasI AM TELLING YOU if you like a crunch to your pizza, and you eat the whole slice.... This places personal pie is just for you....The two guys behind the counter was extremely nice... One had to be the owner, a bigger guy great personality and knew his stuff.... And the counter guy was just as nice and eager to help....So I have no dog in this fight.... Did I get lucky, maybe maybe not.... I will go back and order the large and definitely a person for the ride home.... It will be interesting.... But this is a true review.... Thanks to the guys who made the pies....“

“I went yesterday to pick up a TooGoodToGo order. The owner(s) were friendly, greeted me and let me know the bagels were handmade daily. I went home and decided to make myself a sandwhich on one of the bagels and it was incredible. I am from Brooklyn so I’m picky about my bagels but the bagels from here were delicious. The pizza I received was also good quality and yummy. I would come back here everyday if I lived closer. Definitely worth the trip.“

“Holy moly……. The food here is phenomenal, ambience is perfect, service is 💯. The gentleman at the front counter making the food and serving is passionate and a true artist with food. I added a picture, wanted to share it before I bit into it, but the aroma, taste, and texture was 🔥!! I had the cheesesteak pizza- of all the speciality slices I’ve had in many years- this was the best one.

I drove 30 minutes back here because it’s the best!! Support local!

“A Hidden Gem in Wharton That Keeps Getting Better!

This evening we had a truly wonderful dinner at Reno’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Wharton, NJ. From start to finish, everything about our visit was top-notch. Our server, Shirley, was incredibly attentive—friendly, prompt, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out, though, was that Reno himself came by to check in and ensure we were enjoying our evening. It’s not every day you see that level of care and pride from an owner, and it absolutely elevated the experience.

We started with two fantastic appetizers—the eggplant rollatini and little neck clams in marinara sauce. Both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. For entrees, we chose the mahi mahi in mango sauce special and the shrimp scampi over linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Compliments to the chef—truly excellent work in the kitchen!

We ended our meal on a sweet note with the mini cannolis, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor.

Although Reno’s (formerly Maria’s) has been a staple in town for some time, their recent expansion into a charming sit-down dining area has added so much to the local dining scene. It’s cozy, welcoming, and a perfect spot for a relaxed and satisfying dinner. Reno’s is a real asset to Wharton, and we’ll definitely be back! (PS It's BYOB!)“

“My very Italian New York family and some friends joined us for a celebration at Chianti Wood Fired Pizza (Bernardsville) this past Saturday evening and they are still raving about the delicious food and quality service. We had originally booked a party of 15 and due to unforeseen circumstances ended up having 22 people show up. Frank was so gracious about it and quickly added tables and chairs. The food kept coming and we ate until we rolled out of there. I wish I could pick a favorite food we had but everything was so delicious that I can't decide. The calamari, brussel sprouts and grandma's pizza immediately come to mind. We plan on returning for future celebration and will hopefully get the number of guests right lol.“
