“Great local pizza place! There are multiple delicious menu items whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian, or something else. I enjoy their salads, specials, entrees, and of course, the pizza. Not a big fan of the grease, but the sauce is great. You'll receive large portions for affordable costs (better than others around). The service is friendly and efficient. This is a hopping place, especially Friday & Saturday nights. I recommend ordering ahead before you're hungry for when you are hungry, or waiting until after the dinner-time rush.“

“We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

I go here every Sunday for lunch with a small group of family and friends, and we have nothing but positive things to say about Casa D’Pizza! I order the chicken francese every week- it has to be the best chicken francese I have ever had. Lots of other Italian spots are sparse on the lemon for their francese, but not Casa! You can tell that they prioritize food quality- everything tastes fresh and has so much flavor.

The staff is also super friendly and welcoming!! Dolly is my personal favorite, she always goes out of her way to connect with all of her customers and is so nice and makes going here such an enjoyable experience!

So imagine our surprise yesterday when we stopped into A Legna Wood Fired Pizza and after the VERY first bite, we looked at each other and just smiled.

This Margherita pizza was hands down the BEST pizza we’ve had in New Jersey, and trust me, we’ve tried pizza spots all over the state!

The crust, the sauce, the fresh mozzarella… absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for amazing pizza, do yourself a favor and stop by! And bonus: they’re BYOB too! 🍷🍕“

“Holy moly……. The food here is phenomenal, ambience is perfect, service is 💯. The gentleman at the front counter making the food and serving is passionate and a true artist with food. I added a picture, wanted to share it before I bit into it, but the aroma, taste, and texture was 🔥!! I had the cheesesteak pizza- of all the speciality slices I’ve had in many years- this was the best one.

“Stopped here (while traveling on 287 (exit 45)) for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered pizza and the godfather panini. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. Only complaint is that we live too far to visit more frequently. Will definitely be back again when we are in the area.“

“We recently moved to the Basking Ridge area and discovered Chianti’s. Obsessed! The wood fired pizza is cooked to perfection. I have an 8, 6, and 19 month old that are always so excited to eat here. They are very accommodating to
families with small children. A highchair is immediately brought over before we even ask. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and great with kids. My favorite dish is the chicken Parmesan. To be honest, one of the bests I’ve ever had. We come here at least once a month, sometimes twice.“

“A Hidden Gem in Wharton That Keeps Getting Better!

This evening we had a truly wonderful dinner at Reno’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Wharton, NJ. From start to finish, everything about our visit was top-notch. Our server, Shirley, was incredibly attentive—friendly, prompt, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out, though, was that Reno himself came by to check in and ensure we were enjoying our evening. It’s not every day you see that level of care and pride from an owner, and it absolutely elevated the experience.

We started with two fantastic appetizers—the eggplant rollatini and little neck clams in marinara sauce. Both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. For entrees, we chose the mahi mahi in mango sauce special and the shrimp scampi over linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Compliments to the chef—truly excellent work in the kitchen!

We ended our meal on a sweet note with the mini cannolis, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor.

Although Reno’s (formerly Maria’s) has been a staple in town for some time, their recent expansion into a charming sit-down dining area has added so much to the local dining scene. It’s cozy, welcoming, and a perfect spot for a relaxed and satisfying dinner. Reno’s is a real asset to Wharton, and we’ll definitely be back! (PS It's BYOB!)“

“3.5 star review rounded up to a 4. Mixed experience. The cashier I spoke with initially was extremely friendly and quick to help when part of my order was missing. I ordered several items for delivery including chicken francese, a veggie panini, an eggplant parm sub, garlic knots, and a kid's mac and cheese. One salad and the fries that were shown as part of the kid's meal were missing.

To their credit, they immediately offered to send a driver back out with the missing items. However, when the driver returned, he only brought the salad. When I called again, the manager explained that the kid's meals actually do not come with fries and that the menu needs to be corrected. I understand mistakes happen, but when something is advertised as part of a meal, it is reasonable for a customer to expect it.

What surprised me was the solution offered. Instead of simply sending the fries or refunding that portion while letting us keep the meal, I was told a driver could come back to pick up the mac and cheese in order to process a refund. That felt unnecessarily complicated over something as small as fries.

The food quality itself was very good, and the initial customer service was excellent, which is why I’m leaving a positive review overall. I just hope the menu gets corrected and that situations like this are handled a bit more flexibly in the future.“

I moved to NYC in 2000 and would drive to pick up a pie and when visiting my parents as it's a must stop when in NJ, still! Unfortunately, I live in PA now and trust me, there's no true pizza here! Well, guess a trip in Sping to Dover is needed!“
