“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“Food is actually fair as compared to what we have tried for other japanese resto. Crews are pleasant. Ample spacing between tables, comfortable seats. High chair seen. Restroom is clean and smells neutral. Parking is difficult if it gets busy. See images and video for reference.“

“Came here after work for dinner and was not disappointed. Appetizers and sushi came out very quickly, I ended up getting both a hot appetizer as well as one from the sushi bar. Additionally each of the three rolls I ordered were well made, all fish tasted fresh. I would return to sample more of their special rolls.“

“No need to go to NYC for ramen! Their broth is slow cooked for around two days for that rich flavor. The cold dishes served in this restaurant are phenomenal! You can find some dishes not easily served in other NJ ramen restaurants. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. For whoever feeling not welcomed, it’s likely cultural differences. These folks work very efficiently and are very impressive“

There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“Great casual spot for basic sushi. Consistent. Wide selection of rolls if that’s what you like, which is really their focus. Regular sushi, nigiri, sashimi is good for the location, not high end and limited varieties but always fresh. Generous portions. Great friendly staff.“

“Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.“

“Wonderful Japanese restaurant in the heart of downtown Cranford! Staff are courteous, attentive, and very accommodating. I especially appreciate the options of separate checks and allowing external cakes to be brought in for special occasions. Other places charge or don’t offer them at all, which is why I will continue to give Mizu my business. The sushi is absolutely amazing. The calamari or tuna avocado rolls are delightful. A example is the Fireman Frank roll, who knew eggplant would work so well in Sushi.“

I also really enjoyed the udon and the salmon bento set—they were full of flavor. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, and the wall art is fun and memorable. “I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. Although I don't have many pictures of my dining or pickups from here, I highly recommend the bulgogi or pink salmon special (seared roll)

“We tried this place out after seeing it many times over the past couple of years. Since our other place has since closed not far off, we went here and we weren't really disappointed. The egg rolls, we were told are homemade, do seem homemade and are good. The Chinese menu is small but does cover some of the classics enough to find a dish you like. They focus on Sushi there, but not our interest. We've gone a few times now, it's no home run, but no strikes yet. Might be a good to try, if in the area and in an asian fare mood.“

Had to throw everything in the garbage today - sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) did not smell fresh at all, looked very different. Ramen soup was disguisting. We used to love this place, truly loved. But last couple of times food seems not the same. Also Doordash took two hours to deliver instead of promised 45 min- have a feeling they were looking for fresh fish and could not find it - so result was obvious. “Excellent Ramen. Great service. Great little spot. The kimchi they bring you is divine, spicey, and delicious. The Spicey Ramen I had was amazing, even down to delicious bean sprouts. The spring rolls were on point. By far the best shrimp tempora I've had. Simple, light, crisp and delicious. Oh and the house sake was fantastic. If you're in the area, check this place out. It will not disappoint!“

“The sushi here never disappoints! I don't order here often but I've never had a bad or wrong order. The BBQ squid is so good, if you like that sort of thing. The Godzilla roll was my go to but I tried the Valentine roll and it's excellent. So many choices but love my favorites. I highly recommend trying them if you haven't already.“
