“Ordered the Hand-Tossed Halal Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, size Large. We each tried a slice in the car, and it was WONDERFUL!!! The toppings were very Fresh, and they did not overpower the pizza. What I mean by this is that the toppings were diced very nicely, and they were spread out evenly, so that each bite was consistent. I can't wait to go back and try other pizzas!“

“Came here at 8:30 on a Friday night with my family and the place was surprisingly empty. Ahmed, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and prompt service. He gave us several recommendations (we ordered them all) and every dish was great. We got the branzino, the lamb chops, the half grilled chicken, hummusand mishwia. While every dish was truly tasty, my two favorites were the branzino and mishwia. I told Ahmed it was my parents anniversary and he gave us tea and baklava on the house. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. The food, the hospitality, and the service is top notch.“
“We came at iftar time during Ramadan so the place was so crowded. We decided to order for take out however we managed to get a table but the food was already packed.I would like to give another try for the lamb Haneeth & Fahsa since it wasn’t that tasty. The lentils soup and Areka were delicious.The service is 10 out of 5 they were very welcoming and friendly. Even while they were swamped with work but they managed to pay attention to their customers professionally.Great atmosphere and authentic Yemeni food. Hopefully I will have to pay a visit after Ramadan.The overall experience is great.“
“Halal cart in front of cvs.Delicious food and extremely affordable. On top of that, the owner is extremely friendly and hospitable with all his customers. When I initially started coming here he was nice enough to let me sample some proteins and even gave me a falafel in my platter one day when I asked about it.~8 bucks for a flavorful yet filling plate of food with a drink is a crazy deal in these times especially when you’re not wanting spend too much and need something quick but satisfying.Fish, falafel, lamb, or chicken all have been delicious whether you get them on rice or wrapped in pita. Make sure to get white green and red sauce if you like spicy. Wishing this cart continued success and will miss it when I move out of SP.“
“They had a special deal going on all day today, and I Got a free chicken gyro. I live close by and i had been thinking of trying it out ever since it opened up and finally went today since it was free, and have to say I was impressed. It was delicious and well prepared. Quick service and like I said, free, lol so couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you guys that were out there working & preparing food for free all day! “Ordered the butter chicken and naan for an early dinner. The food was wonderful and the restaurant itself is very cozy in a sweet neighborhood in South Philly. The service was friendly, quick, and kind. I will definitely come back when I’m in Philly!“
“Forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to try this place! I got the Main #4 to try a slider and a tender + fries. The guys working were super helpful and kind with my indecisiveness. They actually let me try one thing at the medium and one thing at the screamin spice level for the things I got. (I went with a medium slider and screamin tender). They put ghost pepper in the screamin' spice, so its definitely spicy, but so good . I do have a really high spice tolerance and i'll describe it as on the same level as the samyang buldak ramen (iykyk). The slider was also great. The slaw does well to mask the medium spice and pickles were super fresh. The fries have a spice mix on them as well but they're not spicy, more like cajun seasoning. Note: I would recommend eating there if you can for the best crunch factor. Overall, I really enjoyed everything I got, and I would definitely come back with some friends that can handle their spice.“
“Al'Hamdu'Lillaah this place is good for big or small get togethers. The food is good. I've ordered the salmon, the Al-Shams burger, pizza, etc... Overall food is cooked right, you just have to make sure they get the order right. Maybe tell them twice and check while they're cooking it to be sure. There's a bathroom and a spot to pray which is a plus, Al'Hamdu'Lillaah. The parking is usual Philly find a spot.The one on Chestnut is the same . Food is good, spot to pray and a bathroom for wudu. The only difference is you have to pay for parking down on Chestnut but it's very cheap .... Enjoy! ?“

“Without a doubt the best gyro I have had. Very unique spicing and sauce. I strongly suggest having it over a pita. My son had a chicken tender, which was freshly fried, and he enjoyed it very much. “I don't leave a lot of reviews but I had to leave a review for this restaurant. My family and I had the best meal ever from this establishment. We ordered their salmon cheese steak which was absolutely amazing. We ordered their lobster cheese steak. We also ordered their fish tacos and chicken fingers with the side of mac and cheese and greens and I can just tell you that everything was so flavorful. Everything was so good. We will definitely be returning to this establishment.My husband and I was surprised to learn that this place has only been open for 7 months. We're definitely looking forward to enjoying their food again, and we can definitely see an expansion in this restaurant's future, hopefully with a dine in section.“

“One of the best, if not the best, Halal food cart in the area. More seasoned then other carts I've tried. Their white sauce is certainly better then the other cart up the road. This cart also doesn't serve the yellow Dye rice which is served by its competitors. They have the best combo platter and lamb in the area. Highly recommended!!!!“

“I visited the truck during my lunch break to pick up lunch for me and my mother. We both got the chicken over rice with the salad. The man in the truck was very nice and personable. The person in front of me ordered six plates, and he served them promptly. When it was my turn order, he greeted me warmly and served the food fairly quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are great, the meal comes with a drink as well. it's a plentiful serving because I only ate half for dinner and had the other half the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. I think overall, you can't beat the delectable taste with the price. 10/10“
“We love this place! We come here all the time and our favorite is the chicken and mutton karahis. Our most recent visit was for the Ramadan buffet, the buffet was full the entire time and the service was amazing. They even had some jayanamaz outside for maghrib prayer. “Drove by this market the other day and decided to stop. So many interesting items. The staff working are very pleasant. We had questions about some of the items and they were happy to explain and give opinions. We love Turkish cuisine and are always up to trying new things. The prices were very reasonable. The butcher/meat area had wonderful looking fresh meats. We didn't plan this trip and were heading somewhere else afterwards, so we didn't pick up any meats, but will be coming back to try some. In the back is the bakery and a little place to sit. We purchased a coffee and a pide. We sat down to have a few bites of it, and it was very good. The dough had a little crispness and soft chew and very good flavor. We also grabbed a turkish cherry soda, which was very light and refreshing. We ended up buying a lot of items including a case of the soda. We definitely will be back.“

“Approximately about 10 years ago, that's the first time I had try Halal food. The only thing I remember about it that it cost $5 for the platter and a drink. Recently I've heard a lot of great things about Asad's Chicken on Cottman and Boulevard. And Percy's Chicken on Frankford. First I went to Percy's, it was shut down by Health Department(ceased of operation paper). Then I went to Asad's, the line is ridiculously long and they only served sliders and smoothies. We decided to drive a little to Khan's Halal Food. It was empty when we arrived, but that didn't stop us from dinning in. We decided to get Khan's #2 and Chicken Over Rice. The Chicken over Rice was our favorite. The meat wasn't dry or stringy. They weren't stingy on the white creamy sauce. Everything in that platter mix very well together including the brown rice, lettuce and the cucumbers. Khan's #2 gives 2 sliders and fries. I had paid extra for cheese fries. The two sliders meats were very juicy. Even though I ask for hot(one lower spice than extra hot), it wasn't spicy at all. The only thing that I was hoping they do carry is fruit smoothies. Because both Asad's and Percy's carry those smoothies. Unfortunately, Khan's only have sodas, lemonade, iced tea, and half&half.“
