Delivery was fast and delivered hot, I order the chicken ranchero pizza, it's was very good, only thing It could of used is a little bit more tomatoes but other then that I highly recommend trying it. “I visited the truck during my lunch break to pick up lunch for me and my mother. We both got the chicken over rice with the salad. The man in the truck was very nice and personable. The person in front of me ordered six plates, and he served them promptly. When it was my turn order, he greeted me warmly and served the food fairly quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are great, the meal comes with a drink as well. it's a plentiful serving because I only ate half for dinner and had the other half the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. I think overall, you can't beat the delectable taste with the price. 10/10“

“This has been my favorite halal cart in the city for some time. If you live in the city you know there are bad carts and good carts, this is one of the best. Lamb and falafel are excellent. Service is quick and it's surrounded by perfect places to sit and eat. You will not be disappointed here. He isnt open too late, it varies with weather and time of year, but get there quickly after work. 5-6 pm he is usually still there.“

“I have recently become a frequent customer of Al Baraka and Falafel king next door. The market has quality meat selection for great prices and I prefer it to other grocery stores. The owners are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Abu Tata is always generous in helping me pick products! Abu Said has gone out of his way to make me a special order of knafeh (kunafa) which has become my new favorite dessert in the world! I have since tried it from other shops and restaurants but no where makes it as good as Al Baraka! I recommend everyone stop in and shop around and try something different! And definitely try the knafeh because it is out of this world!“

“Very good beef shawarma and hummus. Hot sauce was more like a salsa and was a nice treat. Love the melt-in-your-mouth bread which I've never had before; so good I ate it by itself in about 10 seconds. Things that could use improvement are the salad which was a little too tart and the baba ganoush which had some hard pieces. Overall a good experience.“

“One of the best halal take outs I’ve had.
I drive all around New Jersey, Delaware and PA for work and I’ve tried many restaurants. This place has some of the best chicken and lamb platters.

I got both lamb and chicken. The chicken is their best it has cinnamon, nutmeg, saffron. I will probably go a little lighter on the white sauce next time, coming from someone who really enjoys white sauce. But the seasoning from the chicken really balances their white sauce and hot sauce.
The hot sauce isn’t too spicy at all it’s just right and adds to the flavors of the platter.

The vegetables were VERY FRESH. Nice crunch from green bell peppers. No wilting in the lettuce. Tasted like the veggies were picked that morning.

10/10 if you want a recommendation I would say try the chicken platter as most of the reviews recommended.

“found this restaurant through Google Maps while I was in the Roosevelt area on business, and I'm so glad I decided to stop by.
This is an amazing place! The staff are kind, respectful, welcoming, and truly friendly. The restaurant is very clean, and you can tell that everything is prepared using the freshest ingredients. The team works professionally, and everyone follows good hygiene practices by wearing gloves and masks. Everything is neat and organized, from the tables to the napkins and the food preparation area.
The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and inviting, and the food is fresh and absolutely delicious.
I'm just a regular customer with no connection to this restaurant, and I honestly had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend visiting this place—you won't regret it. In fact, after trying the food, you'll probably want to come back again and again!
