“I recently ate here on Saturday. This restaurant was my second option because I was running too late to my first. When I tell yall I'm so happy it turned out this way!! I took my nephew who loves ramen.Food: I eat at a lot of asian restaurants (Japanese, Chinese, Korean). THIS EASILY IS ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN THE CITY. Asian food or not. Very fresh, very clean. And surprisingly extremely affordable. We ordered 1 hibachi meal, 2 ramen (one with (2) extra toppings), 6 soft drinks, 3 appetizers PLUS 20% tip all came to $100!!! My nephew completely ate every bite of his ramen plus broth, which was why we came to this restaurant. There were NO leftovers as it was absolutely delicious and I WILL return.Service: Only one woman who I didnt catch name but the receipt said "BOSS" and even though I was skeptical at first she is very prompt and was pleasant to be around. I was very happy to leave a large tip and I highly encourage it for others to do so as well. She is obviously very hard-working.Atmosphere: Its small but you can tell a lot of the decorations were made by (i believe) the daughters of the owners. “My fiancé and I came here to eat and I must say that the aesthetics here are so cute! The staff are friendly and their food is delicious! For apps: I recommend trying the steamed pork gyoza and Italian egg roll. For tacos: I recommend the tofu taco. It’s very crispy and moist. The ramen is good as well. For drinks I recommend the jasmine lemon green tea. We definitely would come back! :)“

“My husband and I had a pleasant lunch here the other day. We were immediately greeted and the staff explained the menu to us both. It was very clean and service was efficient. “This was my first experience at a Ramen place. The atmosphere was nice, you can sit and watch anime as you eat your favorite bowl of ramen. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The waitress helped my son pack the little bit of ramen he was unable to finish. There was complimentary kimchi provided as an appetizer, that was a plus. I got the black garlic ramen and it did not disappoint. My son is a huge anime and ramen fan and he says the place deserves 5stars. Based on our experience, I’d have to agree.“
“Location a bit sketchy and there is not many seats inside but the sushi is good quality for its price point.The salmon roll is $10 at time of writing, slightly more expensive than nearby alternatives but seems to be expertly prepared.The braised pork belly buns are delicious and come with thick slabs of pork meat.The fried rice rolls appetizers are also quick good and does their job to stimulate the appetite.The cha shu ramen itself is slightly spicy and includes a sliced slab of corn which is an interesting choice, at first glance, it seems a bit like instant ramen but upon tasing the noodles are certainly higher quality than that of instant ramen. The eggs are hard boiled and reminiscent of soy sauced braised salty tea eggs, the broth is flavorful but nothing too special and the same can be said for the cha shu pork pieces. Overall 4/5. The ramen passable but the sushi is the main highlight of this place.“

“I went here with a crew of 6 to celebrate a special day, and it was a really good experience! By no means am I a sushi expert, but I am not a newcomer either and to me it was pretty great experience, especially the tempura shrimp on the mango shrimp roll.. We ordered the Party Platter D which came with 64 pieces total comprised of Alaska roll, tuna avocado roll, california roll, spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, tiger roll, mango shrimp roll, and creamy crab roll. The mango in the mango shrimp roll was also a welcomed change of flavors. Lots of options. We ended up getting one of the family meals that really satisfied our group's stomachs and wallets. Generally it is a little expensive, but it's a local establishment that also doesn't have a liquor license to bring in easy revenue. On that note, this is a BYOB restaurant, which is pretty neat, allowing you to save even more on your overall price if you plan on drinking. I wonder if they would be willing to warm your sake for you? My only food recommendation (which I communicated to the open and friendly guy at the counter, is that the spicy tuna wasn't very spicy. Maybe now it will be spicier if they've had similar complaints since the time I went--probably 5 months ago at this point. Otherwise, my only other complaint is just that it's a small place--about 8 spots at the stylish wood sushi bar, and two picnic style tables that can seat 5 if you pull up a chair, so it might be a little tough to find a spot if you're going out with a crew.“

The one thing I noticed is that the fish pieces, draped over the sushi donuts, were very thin.... much thinner than when we ate in six months prior. “I had went with some friends to Chika Ramen Bar for the first time. I had originally doubted the food given the very interesting, futuristic, Blade-Runner-esque theme, though I was pleasantly surprised. Though I had originally, believed, all of this restaurant's pull had been contributed to the ambiance, the food was extremely something to die for. The miso soup ramen with chashu tasted fresh, new, and had helped ease my original concerns. The Karage chicken tasted tender, without any dry pieces. Finally, the servers felt down-to-earth, without them forcing you to leave in a hurry. The overall ambiance, service, and food were something I would definitely consider with friends again.“
“This restaurant was an average experience with service being hit-and-miss and the food being about average for an Americanized Japanese restaurant. The food all tastes good, but it was relatively plain. The servers were all pretty young and occasionally inattentive. I am surely one that likes the staff to leave me be from time-to-time, but waters were often empty and you pretty much had to flag them down when you needed anything, even though the restaurant was only 25% full on a Friday evening. I would say that the Ramen bowls were good, but the miso-based udon bowls were relatively tasteless. What surprised me the most was that they didn't have any of the normal spicy sauce additives for the Ramen bowls, which are usually sitting on the table at typical Ramen bars. When I asked, they only had Siracha sauce as an option...which wasn't preferred, but did make the Ramen tastier when stirring it in. Again, the food was average, but would likely try another one of the many establishments throughout China town next time.Vegetarian options: There were limited vegetarian options, which is relatively expected in a typical Ramen restaurant. The reason that I was eating vegetarian was it was a Friday in Lent. That said, the vegetarian options were cleared labeled as such in English, which is helpful. I will also say my vegetarian ramen was tasty, one I added in the Siracha sauce.Kid-friendliness: I would not say this place is either kid friendly, or not. It is a typical restaurant that is at least not off-putting for families with kids. I brought my daughter with me, who enjoyed herself.“

“The place is quiet and friendly.I didn’t expect to eat such big portions of food. The main dish was giant, and tasted amazing!!. I couldn’t finish it and ended up taking it home. The beef sticks were not good and the corn was not good either because the seasoning didn’t match the corn taste(the corn and beef stick have the same seasoning). everything else was yummy.The bathroom is not the best since is not that accessible for people with disabilities. and they don’t have dry paper towels which can make things uncomfortable because I feel like I’m touching more bacteria while opening the bathroom door or closing the faucet.“

“I’ve only been here twice, but I can honestly say I love it here. The staff is super nice, friendly and really helpful. I’ve had the curry chicken katsu twice here and it’s honestly so good I’m scared to try it anywhere else lowkey! The tantan ramen was okay, I wish I asked if it could be spicier than what it was but it was still good flavour. Next time I go back I’ll probably try the spicy ramen though!
