“Mama’s Cafe Baci has a huge gluten free menu and every single member of the staff is well versed on how to handle a table with both GF and non GF.The GF calamari is fantastic. It is always prepared perfectly- never overcooked -as it is in many places.The calamari is one reason I will travel almost an hour just to eat there. The oils seems to be quite fresh, not old or burnt tasting, and it is a GF dedicated fryer. The other (and most important) reason, is I never get sick from Gluten cross contamination there. That is a really big deal.The owners are super friendly and so welcoming, and no matter how busy, they take the time to check in with most everyone that comes through the door. From the atmosphere, to the well trained, attentive staff, the pride taken in this family business is obvious.One year, our children had our anniversary party catered by Mama’s so it could all be gluten free and safe for me to enjoy. They picked up a huge order with all kinds of food, unfortunately the pizzas were left behind at the restaurant. Sheri called apologizing and sent freshly made, hot on delivery, pizzas with a driver ALL THE WAY to our party an hour away. We were so impressed and very grateful as the pizzas were something we really look forward to treating ourselves with once in awhile. We are all human, and we all make mistakes, whether it was theirs or ours they made it right without excuse AND offered to give us the pizzas at no charge. “Such a cute coffee shop in Roxbury Township! I absolutely love the decor and the layout, it's so cute and just brings me joy. I feel like I'm on a farm. The coffee drinks and menu is phenomenal! Definitely very creative and tasty, not like a regular coffee. I appreciate that they can adjust the sweetness to the drinks. Absolutely LOVED the touch of the cheese breads and empanadas. They were really delicious and paired well with the coffee. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!“

“This is one of our favorite go to places. The staff is always friendly and attentive. There is usually no wait to be seated. We have many favorites but the pizza is at the top of our list. The crust is soft and there is plenty of cheese. We love the fresh bread and oil to dip it in that they bring when you first sit down. The bolognese sauce is some of the best that we have ever had. Pasta is always cooked perfectly. Some of the best wings as well. Crispy and flavorful. There are always specials on the weekends and they have a large selection of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. The cannoli are great and the mocha cappuccino is a must. We do wish they would bring back their bruschetta. It was delicious!“

“Came here with my family for a goodbye dinner, and I have to say it was quite cozy and cute inside. They are a BYOB restaurant, so we brought our own wine and our waiter opened and poured it for us throughout the visit making sure our glasses were always full. I strongly suggest they type up the specials for people to read and to view prices. The waiter told us the specials from memory; so of course, all three of us had questions to ask and the waiter was getting angry that we couldn’t remember all of what he just said. After we order, we receive these absolutely delicious breadsticks and they were gracious enough to bring out seconds! I ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, I thought they were really tasty and juicy! I ordered the Chicken Milanese as my entree. I thought the chicken was a bit dry and super thin, it definitely looked like a large piece of chicken but was very deceiving. I was very excited for dessert because I was told by the lady that everything was homemade. I also work in the restaurant industry; I recognized 3 of the desserts right away being from a restaurant company. She then told me that the Tiramisu was a family recipe of theirs and let me say this, it is a must try for sure. Tiramisu is a favorite of mine and it did not disappoint! The lady also sold me on ordering her cappuccino because she makes them really good; it was good and extra foamy. Overall, it was a nice experience. However, I don’t think I will be coming back anytime soon due to the prices. If I knew 3 meatballs were going to be $19 I would have skipped it. Same for some of the other dishes, especially on the specials menu. I get they are going for a more upscale feel but having your waiter and waitress sit a table away from you eating and talking with other workers doesn’t really give off that vibe.“

“Best bakery in a few towns around. A bit on the expensive side... If you're buying a cake... The price is probably going to restrict it to special occasions. But yes it's totally worth it. I got it for an office birthday of a friend. Everyone loved it.The bread is really good. I haven't had that good baguette anywhere.“

The menu offered many delicious classic Italian dishes, along with some elevated interpretations of the classics. We will absolutely return to try other items that this great restaurant has to offer! “Absolutely love the food at this restaurant! (I drive an hour from my house to go here for takeout and it’s so worth it) friendly staff as well. The mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! love the cheesecake, carrot cake, fried cauliflower, and the avocado rolls. they also have good vegan chocolate treats at the counter as well which are delicious. it’s an amazing alternative food options for those who are vegan or have a dairy allergy like I do! :)“

“We stop in from time to time and this local crêpe shop never disappoints. Service is always friendly and the crepes are always fantastic! We need to go more often. We typically get the sweet crepes with ice cream. One time we got a savory crepe for lunch and it was also fantastic! Highly recommendedKid-friendliness: KIDS LOVE IT!“

“We had a wonderful dinner at the Corner Bistro. There were six of us, and as we hadn't been together in a long time, there was a lot to catch up on. This was perfect place to enjoy a meal and a conversation. The service was attentive but didn't make us feel rushed. The food was delicious, and several of us had to take food home as the portions generous. It is BYOB, which is nice. I highly recommend this restaurant for food, service and atmosphere.“

“We moved to Basking Ridge 4 years ago and found Red Oak Grille next to our rental. It reminded us of our favorite go to restaurant in Texas and it never disappoints. On our last visit our waitress was busy and to our surprise she comped our first beverage order due to a delay in taking our order. Who does that?! If you have not gone to Red Oak Grille I highly recommend you go as soon as you can! As it gets warmer make sure you sit out on the deck and take in the beautiful golf course views! Great service, food and views!“
