“Sakura was a staple takeout spot for us while we lived at Hyde Park Apartments. The food is always fresh, nicely presented, and above all delicious. Service was quick and friendly. “For my first time visiting it was very nice. The young lady who served me and my wife was very patient and kind. The food we ordered came out fast and was great as far as taste. The only small problem was the room temp was a little too cold and our food got cold fast. Overall, for my first time, I enjoyed the peacefulness and tranquility in the atmosphere.“

“Took myself and my better half here for the first time today as I've lived in this part of the neighborhood for over a year and a half now and have passed by several times and wanted to give it a try. I order eggs sunny side, home fries w/ onion and scrapple, my fiancé ordered french toast with bacon and side of scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious and fresh, kept topping off the coffee and the servers and people behind the counter were all friendly, made us feel like one of their own. Noticed by the customer traffic coming in and out that there were alot of locals. Definitely a place we will make ourselves regulars. I see why Kitty's has been here for 70 years.“

The restaurant decor is a little dated, but it fits the feel and the food and I wouldn't change hardly a thing. This is the diner we've been missing since moving to New Jersey.“

“The food was solid. Our server was efficient and pleasant. The holiday decor was tasteful and classically done. The initial sticker shock of the prices was quelled by soup or salad being included with my entree and the same plus dessert for my wife's.“

They handled 41 Sears TractorTrailer drivers - no problem. We’ll be back in six months (4/11/25). At the end some of us waited for this picture.“

“ONION RINGS are the BEST I've ever had! I really ❤️this place, but they gave me a raw turkey burger, and that just turned me OFF. I had a reservation for a party of 12. The food everyone agreed was for the most part good, but some items not so much. This place may not be a good option for large parties on Christmas Eve.

“First time I’ve ever been here. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. That was one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! The taste was out of this world. Even the bun was incredible. I live in another county but this diner is worth another drive up! Absolutely five stars!“

“Food was good. Service was excellent. I had avocado toast. The avocado is not fresh. It was slightly watery on my bread. I asked the waitress if the avocado was fresh. She replied it was premade that they buy. It was kind of bland. The other diners had eggs and bacon which was very good. No complaints. They also have good oatmeal.

Parking: Parking is mainly on the left side of restaurant. A few places are available in the very front of the building.“
