“I visited Dave’s Hot Chicken Kearny back on 9/8/24 and it was amazing as usual. I came around noontime and there was no line and I was in and out. I ate my food in the rear parking lot near the river. I’m happy we have a Dave’s in the Central Jersey area now since the only one had was in Wayne which is too far of a drive for me. Now they opened a Union,NJ location which is even better for me. Looking to check that out as well. But Dave’s is top tier no matter what location you go to. The service and the flavor is always consistent. Keep up the great work. Grade A.

Parking: The parking is ample. It’s inside a shopping complex with a river view in the back of the complex.

It was when the Bacavo I ordered came that I realized that I must not have said “grilled “ when placing the order. So without further ado Steve said, I’ll bring you the Bacavo grilled. And I got the most appetizing and delicious grilled Bacavo sandwich. Happy ending indeed.“

“I mean, it’s Popeyes! Sweet people working a tough job without much support. The space is big but most people seem to get takeout. I really only get the chicken tenders- sometimes the combo and sometimes just tenders but I have had the fried chicken sandwich and it’s been fab.“

“Friendly and quick service. The food was hot a delicious. We tried the adobo rice, palabok, and spicy/regular chicken. They provided packets of lemon juice for the palabok, ketchup for the fries, gravy with the white rice and chicken. I want to add that the location was clean. The tables have lightweight unattached chairs that slide out very easily from tables at regular or counter height for your convenience. “This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. “Best seasoned garlic wings in Montclair. Absolutely delicious. We had the seasoned secret sauce wings as well..and it was flavorful, fresh, and a nice crunch when you bite in. Best french fries! Their Aurora blue lemon was different and refreshing! Great service and friendly staff.

Parking: Sundays are better for parking. The entire strip is busy on Friday and Saturdays so it's best to park and walk to the location

People weren’t watching their kids and they were eating off other peoples plates. I don’t mind sharing with kids but please don’t allow them to stick their hands in random strangers plates.
