the cook is the best around
Went to the Newark location on Lyons Avenue. It's dark and dreary inside. Only 1 cashier with Uber Eats orders and 4 customers in line. Other workers were focusing on & fulfilling pick up orders. They ran out of chicken so those of us online had to wait 12 minutes. Was NOT offered a free drink or anything. Received my order and it did not taste like the Popeye's I know. It wasn't seasoned with the known Louisiana spices, it seems like basic salt and pepper.
We order for our partial care program from this location. Never any issues and food is always fresh and piping hot when we receive it. Always in our rotation! Thank you guys
