It seemed like too extreme a test to start with, so I ordered a classic donut flavor and a chocolate one. “This is the mascarpone donut with jerky on top. It was pretty good but unfortunately the only one they had left at night. I’m told they sell out of donuts very quick and if you’re not first you left with what’s last. This place is the store front of Ra Ra Rhino the small speakeasy behind the donut spot. Another regrettable thing is often there is no one there at night to sell you donuts you will have to go into the speakeasy find the bar tender and coerce them to come up front and sell you a donut. It’s fair to say the service isn’t great late a night but the donuts are pretty good.“

“I go to New York City once year: My co-workers and I take a group of theater students, we see 8 broadways shows, I get a *carrot cake donut* at the Doughnut Plant in Grand Central Station, and I’m a happy girl for one more year. I always have a good experience! I get my favorite, and then something new. Everything I’ve ever tried there has been phenomenal. (This time is was a coffee cake doughnut - it was inspired! SO good!) If Doughnut Plant moved its location to the moon, I’d probably just start taking my theater students there instead, just so I could get my yearly taste test at Doughnut Plant.“

Once you enter go right side and you will find the food court. There is a few seatings inside, but due to covid it is better to take the donuts home. Service: I did not have any interaction with the employees. We just order and go. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, we had UBE, MATCHA, YUZU, NUTELLA, COOKIES and CREAM and BLACK SESAME. My favorites are UBE and BLACK SESAME, they have distinct flavors. The dough is soft and gooey, which is what I like for a mochi donut. Price rating: 7/10, it was not that bad for the price. “The egg toasts were delectable! Actually so happy my sister and I chose to come by. It has a tiny kick of spice which was a pleasant surprise. My sister got the vanilla flat white coffee and she loved it and finished it so quickly. The only thing I wasn't over the
moon for was the corndog. I got the mozarella hot dog corn dog and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again.

The space is small but offers some seating indoors and outdoors. I will definitely try to come again for the egg toast specifically.“

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends!
