El Coquí Café is a small, cute, and adorable cafe with a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home, safe, and loving, reminiscent of a local shop in Puerto Rico. The food is amazing, delicious, flavorful, and filling. Specific items include the coquito latte, which can be made with oatmilk, as well as tres leches, flan, cookies, empanadas, alfajores, and a breakfast sandwich. The empanadas are good and come with a hot sauce that is even better. The staff and ladies working are very kind, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about the food and customers, providing fast and helpful service. The restaurant has plenty of street parking. While some items like the breakfast sandwich are pretty basic, the overall experience is highly recommended, with many customers planning to return to try more snacky items and coffee.
